Sketch-based image retrieval techniques using generative domain migration hashing
This disclosure relates to improved sketch-based image retrieval (SBIR) techniques. The SBIR techniques utilize a neural network architecture to train a domain migration function and a hashing function. The domain migration function is configured to transform sketches into synthetic images, and the hashing function is configured to generate hash codes from synthetic images and authentic images in a manner that preserves semantic consistency across the sketch and image domains. The hash codes generated from the synthetic images can be used for accurately identifying and retrieving authentic images corresponding to sketch queries, or vice versa.
Dynamic updating of query result displays
Described are methods, systems and computer readable media for dynamic updating of query result displays.
File Storage Method and Apparatus, and Device and Readable Storage Medium
A file storage method, apparatus, device and a readable storage medium. The method includes: performing striping processing on a target file to obtain multiple target objects, and calculating fingerprint information of each target object; using a first target object and logical information of the target file to form a logical header object, and storing the logical header object in a storage system; using the fingerprint information of each second target object to determine whether the second target object has been stored in the storage system; and if the second target object has not been stored in the storage system, determining the second target object as a third target object and storing same in the storage system. According to the method, logical information of each file can be preserved, and files of some users can be prevented from being modified or deleted after deduplication is performed in the storage system.
Sharing screen content in a mobile environment
Systems and methods are provided for sharing a screen from a mobile device. For example, a method includes receiving, at a second mobile device, an image of a screen captured from a first mobile device and determining whether to trigger an automated action. The method may also include displaying, responsive to not triggering the automated action, annotation data generated for the image with the image on a display of the second mobile device, the annotation data including at least one visual cue corresponding to content in the image relevant to a user of the second mobile device. The method may further include, responsive to triggering the automated action, determining that a mobile application associated with the image is installed on the second mobile device and replaying user input actions received with the image on the second mobile device starting from a reference screen associated with the mobile application.
Systems and methods for managed asset distribution in a distributed heterogeneous storage environment
Embodiments of systems and methods for the rules based distribution of managed content across heterogeneous storage distributed in a network environment are disclosed. In particular, certain embodiments may employ entity rules in association with a content management system. An entity rule may be a rule specifying a set of parameters and a destination secondary storage location. When the entity rule is evaluated by the content system, a set of content managed by the content management system responsive to the rule may be determined using the parameters of the rule. Responsive content can be determined, for example, by searching the content of the content management system based on the parameters. Responsive content may be moved from the primary storage location of the content management system to the secondary storage location specified by the entity rule.
Source file copying and error handling
Object service receives request to copy file to destination and identifies group identifier for fingerprints group corresponding to sequential segments in file. Object service communicates request for fingerprints group to deduplication service associated with group identifier range including group identifier. Deduplication service communicates fingerprints group, retrieved from fingerprint storage, to object service, which communicates fingerprints group and group identifier to destination. Object service communicates request for file segments, corresponding to fingerprints missing in destination, communicated from destination, to deduplication service, which communicates requested segments, retrieved from source storage, to object service, which communicates requested segments to destination. System identifies generation identifier associated with time of communicating by object service or deduplication service, and generation identifier associated with another time of communicating by object service or deduplication service. If generation identifier associated with time differs from generation identifier associated with other time, object service or deduplication service restarts communication.
Providing writable streams for external data sources
The subject technology determines, using a connection to an external data source, a set of shards stored in an external data source, the connection to the external data source being established using an external integration, the external integration including security and configuration information. The subject technology determines a set of offsets of each shard of the set of shards. The subject technology generates a query plan indicating a degree of parallelism based at least in part on a size of the set of offsets. The subject technology, based on the set of shards and the set of offsets, performs an operation on the external data source by performing, using the connection to the external data source, a write operation from a query statement on the external data source, the external data source being different than a storage platform associated with the system.
Automatic reminders in a mobile environment
Systems and methods are provided for suggesting reminders from content displayed on a mobile device. An example method may include analyzing content generated by a first mobile application and displayed on a display of a mobile device, and determining that the content suggests an event, the event including at least one entity. The method may also include providing an assistance window requesting confirmation for adding a reminder for the event in a second mobile application responsive to determining that the content suggests the event, and adding the reminder via the second mobile application responsive to receiving the confirmation. In some implementations the first mobile application is a messaging application.
Supply of image assets for presentation at a mobile device
Technologies are provided to supply image assets for presentation at a client device. Some embodiments include a computing device that can determine that multiple image assets to be presented in a user interface are unavailable within a non-volatile storage device of the computing device. The computing device can then generate a request for an image sprite containing the multiple image assets, and can send the request to a content source platform. The request identifies the multiple image assets. The computing device can receive, from the content source platform, the image sprite and metadata corresponding to the image sprite. The metadata defines attributes of the multiple image assets. The computing device can store the metadata in the non-volatile storage device, and can extract, using the metadata, the multiple image assets from the image sprite. The computing device can present the multiple assets during presentation of the user interface.
