The method includes: receiving a multimedia data stream sent by a conference participant user of the multimedia conference; generating, according to a received recording instruction for the multimedia conference, storage data of the multimedia conference based on the multimedia data stream sent by the conference participant user; and storing the storage data in cloud.

A method includes (a) operating a first project adapter module to convert a first media project generated by a first media application from a first project format into a generalized project format, thereby generating a generalized project; (b) operating a synchronization service to manage a set of contextual rules; (c) operating a second project adapter module to convert, with reference to the set of contextual rules, the generalized project into a second project format used by a second media application, thereby generating a second media project; and (d) viewing the second media project using the second media application. Such techniques may comprise receiving, from at least one recording device, a media content, receiving sensor data determined to correspond to the media content, determine a context associated with the at least one recording device based on the sensor data, identifying, based on one or more data patterns detected within the sensor data and based on the contextual data, at least one event, generating an index corresponding to the identified event, and storing an indication of the generated index in association with the media content.

Methods and apparatus to facilitate matching of names for same media content are disclosed. Example methods include analyzing first data associated with first media content and, when a program name/identifier and/or episode name/identifier is not identified in the first data, supplementing the data with second data to form third data and processing the third data with respect to fourth data associated with second media content and calculating a composite match score including a program match score and an episode match score based on processing the third data with respect to the fourth data. When the first media content is determined to match the second media content based on the processing of the third data with respect to the fourth data and a comparison of the composite match score to a threshold is satisfied, a normalized media name is generated for the first media content and the second media content.
