SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR LABELING 3D MODELS USING VIRTUAL REALITY AND AUGMENTED REALITY
A computer-implemented method for labeling a three-dimensional (3D) model using virtual reality (VR) techniques implemented by a computer system including a processor is provided herein. The method may include (i) receiving a 3D model including an environmental feature that is unlabeled, (ii) displaying, through a VR device in communication with the processor, a VR environment to a user representing the 3D model, (iii) prompting a user to input labeling data for the environmental feature displayed within the VR environment of the VR device by prompting the user to select the environmental feature through user interaction with the VR device, and input labeling data for the environmental feature, wherein the labeling data identifies the environmental feature, and (iv) generating a labeled 3D model by embedding the labeling data associated with the selected environmental feature into the 3D model.
System for a verifiable physical object with a digital representation and related applications
This computerized system can include a computer system in communication with an immutable storage; a first data capture device and a second data capture device can be in communications with the computer system; a set of computer readable instructions can be included in the computer system configured for receiving a first event record including a first location, a first time and a first set of metadata wherein the first set of metadata includes an original digital representation captured by the first data capture device of the physical object, receiving a subsequent event record from the second data capture device and, determining if the original digital representation is equivalent to the subsequent digital representation thereby providing for verification that the same physical object transitioned from an originating event to a subsequent event.
Systems and methods for logging temperatures of food products
Systems and methods are provided for logging temperatures of food products using a temperature assembly including a housing and one or more temperature sensors, e.g., an infrared sensor for surface temperatures and an elongate probe for acquiring a temperature within a food product, and a mobile electronic device including a camera, a communication interface for communicating with the temperature assembly, a processor configured to acquire a temperature reading from the temperature assembly and an image from the camera when the temperature reading is acquired, and memory for storing the temperature reading and image.
AUGMENTED REALITY COLLABORATION SYSTEM WITH ANNOTATION CAPABILITY
In general, one aspect disclosed features a system comprising: a first user device configured to display virtual content, the first user device comprising one or more displays; one or more hardware processors; and a non-transitory machine-readable storage medium encoded with instructions executable by the one or more hardware processors to: generate a first image depicting virtual content in a virtual location corresponding to a physical location in a physical environment of the first user device, display the first image in the one or more displays of the first user device, enable a user of the first user device to create media and associate that media with the virtual content in the first image in the form of an annotation, and store the annotation and virtual content, and make it available for access by a plurality of additional user devices.
SIMILAR-DEFECT SEARCH/DISPLAY SYSTEM, APPARATUS AND METHOD
According to one embodiment, system includes a determination unit, a first storage, a second storage, a search unit and a display. The determination unit determines a feature quantity of the process-targeted manufacturing data. The first storage stores cause-unidentified manufacturing data. The second storage stores cause-identified manufacturing data. The search unit searches, based on the feature quantity of the process-targeted manufacturing data, the first storage and the second storage for the cause-unidentified manufacturing data and the cause-identified manufacturing data that have a feature quantity similar to that of the process-targeted manufacturing data. The display displays the search result.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PERFORMING ALBUM MANAGEMENT REGARDING EXTERNAL STORAGE DEVICE FOR USER
A method and apparatus for performing album management regarding an external storage device for a user are provided. The external storage device is positioned outside of an electronic device and is coupled to the electronic device to be an accessory of the electronic device. The method may include: utilizing a processing circuit of the electronic device to scan all pictures of multiple pictures in at least one internal storage device within the electronic device and analyze respective picture contents of the multiple pictures to perform classification, and establish an index database of each picture of the multiple pictures according to multiple classification tags respectively corresponding to multiple types of classification; and utilizing the processing circuit to control at least two stages of backup, to generate multiple classified albums respectively corresponding to the multiple types of classification within the external storage device.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, METADATA CREATION METHOD, RECORDING CONTROL METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE RECORDING MEDIUM RECORDING INFORMATION PROCESSING PROGRAM
An information processing apparatus includes a processor. The processor acquires a picked-up image, creates metadata concerning the picked-up image, records an image file including the picked-up image and the metadata, and creates, as the metadata, information concerning the picked-up image with a table format in a first region in the image file and creates the information concerning the picked-up image with unstructured data in a second region extended by the information recorded by the table format in the image file.
METADATA-ASSISTED INVENTORY MANAGEMENT
Examples of the present disclosure relate to metadata-assisted inventory management. Image data relating to a device is captured and further enriched with metadata, such as customer information, current event data, and/or log data associated with the device. The enriched image data may be processed by a decision engine to generate determinations based on the image data in combination with the metadata. For example, an equipment classification decision engine generates an equipment classification for telecommunications equipment therein. As another example, a cost modeling decision engine processes the enriched image data to evaluate a cost associated with the telecommunications equipment or a service evaluation decision engine may process the enriched image data to determine whether telecommunications equipment and/or an associated service are performing as expected. A decision engine may update the enriched image data according to its processing, thereby further enriching the image data for processing by another decision engine.
Media overlay selection system
A computing system receives, from a client device, image data describing an image captured by an optical sensor of the client device. The computing system compares the image to a set of reference images that include associated metadata describing a real-world feature depicted by the respective reference image. The computing system determines, based on the comparison, a subset of reference images that are similar to the image, and then determines, based on associated metadata of the subset of reference images, that the image captured by the optical sensor of the client device depicts a first real-world feature. The computing system selects a subset of media overlays related to the first real-world feature based on metadata associated with each media overlay that describes the respective media overlay. The computing system transmits the subset of media overlays to the client device.
