Product display visualization in augmented reality platforms
Using augmented reality (AR) to display information regarding products and services that are comparable or related to a product or service that a user of the AR device is viewing or may consider purchasing. For example, in response to scanning a particular product, an AR device may display one or more products comparable or related to the scanned product. These products may be presented to the user as a digital visualization wall of products, wherein the digital visualization wall is dynamically rendered in real-time and viewable from the AR device.
Digital inventory and inventory transfer assistant
A computer-implemented system and related method are provided for operating a digital inventory system. The method comprises receiving, from an imaging device, an image comprising an object and performing object recognition on the image to determine an object type of the object. The method further comprises determining when the object is to be added to an inventory database based on inventory rules stored in a memory of the digital inventory system. When these rules indicate that the object is to be added, the object is added to the inventory database. The method determines a value of the inventory object based on valuation information related to other objects of a same or similar object type. The value is associated with the inventory object. The inventory object is displayed along with its value on a computer display.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PERFORMING A COMPUTER ASSISTED ORTHOPAEDIC SURGICAL PROCEDURE
A computer assisted surgery system includes a controller configured to display images of the surgical procedure according to a workflow plan. The controller is configured to retrieve data and determine the workflow plan based on the data. The controller may also be configured to record and store data related to the surgical procedure on, for example, a hospital network.
FACIAL ENROLLMENT AND RECOGNITION SYSTEM
A facial recognition system includes a memory for storing a facial image database, wherein the facial image database includes a plurality of entries each corresponding to a different person, and wherein each entry includes a person identifier along with one or more facial images of the person. The facial recognition system further includes a facial recognition module that is operatively coupled to the memory. The facial recognition module is configured to receive a new facial image, and to select one or more facial recognition engines based on one or more facial image parameters of the new facial image, and to use the selected facial recognition engines to compare the new facial image with facial models that are based upon facial images stored in the facial image database in order to identify the person in the new facial image.
AUTOMATED VISUAL SUGGESTION, GENERATION, AND ASSESSMENT USING COMPUTER VISION DETECTION
An online system may identify content with which a user has an interest. For example, the online system may determine that a user has an interest in the content based on interaction information indicating that the user interacted with the content. In a particular example, the online system may identify image concepts included in the content based on computer vision techniques that recognize the image concepts. The online system may model probabilities that image concepts will appeal to users. Based on the modeled probabilities, the online system may automatically recommend image concepts for inclusion in candidate images, automatically generate candidate images, or assess candidate images to determine a probability of user interaction with the assessed candidate images.
EDGE LEARNING DISPLAY DEVICE AND METHOD
An image processing circuit stores a training database and models in memory. The image processing circuit includes an attribute identification engine to identify an attribute from an input image according to a model stored in the memory. By enhancing the input image based on the identified attribute, a picture quality (PQ) engine in the image processing circuit generates an output image for display. The image processing circuit further includes a data collection module to generate a labeled image based on the input image labeled with the identified attribute, and to add the labeled image to the training database. A training engine in the image processing circuit then re-trains the model using the training database.
Image search based on feature values
An image search device stores images and tag information about the images, receives an image, extracts, from the image, feature values for search queries a similar image search unit which performs a similar-image search to obtain similar images and grouping information, divides the queries into groups in accordance with the obtained grouping information, calculates the levels of importance of the groups, sorts the search results in accordance with the levels of importance of the groups, and outputs information about the search results for each group.
Automatic generation of geographic imagery tours
An indication of a geographic area is received. Respective metrics of noteworthiness are obtained for multiple entities located in the geographic area. Using a machine-readable knowledge repository that describes semantic relations between the entities, several of the entities are selected in view of the corresponding metrics of noteworthiness, so that the selected entities share a set of attributes defining a commonality, and so that digital imagery is available for each of the selected entities. This commonality is not specified by the user. A geographic imagery tour that includes a representation of the respective digital imagery for the selected entities is generated.

Methods and systems for generating holographic animations
Methods and systems are described herein for improved techniques for consuming and interacting with media content. Specifically, the media guidance application may generate holographic animations that move from a holographic structure from which a user has selected a media asset and direct the user to a display device capable of presenting the media asset. For example, in response to a user selecting a baseball movie from a holographic bookcase, the media guidance application may generate for display a holographic baseball that is “thrown” from the bookcase to a television that will present the baseball movie.
