Masking restrictive access control system
A system for enforcing restrictive access control with respect to a set of digital objects includes a first device. The first device is configured to: determine, based at least in part on a first access control rule, to block access to at least a first digital object included in the set of digital objects; determine, based at least in part on a second access control rule, to block access to at least a second digital object included in the set of digital objects; and provide, to a user of the first device, at least a third digital object included in the set of digital objects but not the first digital object and the second digital object.

GPS mapping of outdoor advertisement
Embodiments are directed to a system that enables a user of a mobile communication device to view information that is presented on a billboard at a time after the user sees the physical billboard. The user inputs a billboard-information request into the mobile communication device, such as via an application executing on the mobile communication device. A current location of the mobile communication device at the time when the user input the billboard-information request is determined. Each billboard that is within a predetermined distance from the current location is identified as being a billboard-of-interest for the user. Information associated with each billboard-of-interest is provided to the user via the application executing on the mobile communication device or via a map on a website that is accessible to the user.
Digital Image Capture Session and Metadata Association
Digital image capture session and metadata association techniques are described. In one example, a user input is received to initiate an image capture session. At least one digital image is captured using a digital camera during the image capture session. Audio input data is also collected using an audio input device during the image capture session and is converted into text data, e.g., speech-to-text. Metadata is generated based on the text data and associated with the at least one digital image. The at least one digital image is output as having the associated metadata as completion of the image capture session.

Camera linked with POS apparatus and surveillance method using the same
A surveillance method using a POS apparatus includes receiving, by a point-of-sale (POS) apparatus, transaction information from a user, transmitting, by the POS apparatus, the transaction information to a camera management apparatus, transmitting, by the camera management apparatus, the transaction information to a camera, capturing, by the camera, an image of a surveillance region corresponding to the transaction information based on receiving the transaction information from the camera management apparatus, transmitting, by the camera, the captured image to the camera management apparatus, and storing, by the camera management apparatus, the image transmitted by the camera and the transaction information, respectively, in a storage.
Making modified content available
A method for making modified content available includes storing an item comprising contents. A modification procedure to be performed on the item to modify the contents is identified. The method includes generating a file identifier to represent the item such that, upon a request to access the item being received, the modification procedure is performed on the item using the file identifier and the modified contents are provided in response to the request. A method for making modified content available includes receiving a request to access a file identifier that represents an item comprising contents. After receiving the request, a modification procedure to modify the contents is performed. The modification procedure is identified using the file identifier. The modified contents are provided in response to the request. A system includes an application program, a repository and a redirector.
IMAGE RETRIEVAL USING INTERACTIVE NATURAL LANGUAGE DIALOG
A search engine is modified to perform increasingly precise image searching using iterative Natural Language (NL) interactions. From an NL search input, the modification extracts a set of input features, which includes a set of response features corresponding to an NL statement in the NL search input and a set of image features from a seed image in the NL search input. The modification performs image analysis on an image result in a result set of a query including at least some of the input features. In a next iteration of NL interactions, at least some of the result set is provided. An NL response in the iteration is added to a cumulative NL basis, and a revised result set is provided, which includes a new image result corresponding to a new response feature extracted from the cumulative NL basis.
Image processing including streaming image output
An image recognition approach employs both computer generated and manual image reviews to generate image tags characterizing an image. The computer generated and manual image reviews can be performed sequentially or in parallel. The generated image tags may be provided to a requester in real-time, be used to select an advertisement, and/or be used as the basis of an internet search. In some embodiments generated image tags are used as a basis for an upgraded image review. A confidence of a computer generated image review may be used to determine whether or not to perform a manual image review. Images and their associated image tags are optionally added to an image sequence.
REVERSE IMAGE SEARCH METHOD, APPARATUS AND APPLICATION SYSTEM
The present disclosure relates to a reverse image search method. The reverse image search method may include receiving a search image; extracting feature points of the search image; finding classes corresponding to the feature points of the search image respectively in an image classification index table, the classes comprising images in an image library; and searching the classes corresponding to the feature points of the search image in the image classification index table to obtain a target image having the largest number of identical feature points of the search image.
