Context-based image tag translation
11842165 · 2023-12-12 · ·

In some embodiments, a context-based translation application generates a co-occurrence data structure for a target language describing co-occurrences of target language words and source language words. The context-based translation application receives an input tag for an input image in the source language to be translated into the target language. The context-based translation application obtains multiple candidate translations in the target language for the input tag and determines a translated tag from the multiple candidate translations based on the co-occurrence data structure. The context-based translation application further associates the translated tag with the input image.

Methods, systems, devices, and non-transitory computer readable record media for filtering images using keywords

Provided are methods, systems, electronic devices, and/or computer-readable media that involve filtering images based on keywords, such as keywords extracted from the image. An image filtering method implemented on an electronic device may include receiving a chat message including information on an image sent from another electronic device through a chatroom of a messenger and filtering an image corresponding to the chat message based on a keyword that is extracted from the image.

An example of a non-transitory computer-readable medium storing machine-readable instructions. The instructions may cause a controller to receive an image and detect an object in the image. Based on a contextual setting of the electronic device, overlay data may be retrieved from a database or a remote electronic device to be visually associated with the object on a display.

METHOD, SYSTEM, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE RECORD MEDIUM FOR PROVIDING COMPARISON RESULT BY COMPARING COMMON FEATURES OF PRODUCTS

Provided are a method, a system, and a non-transitory computer-readable record medium for comparing common features of products and providing a comparison result. A product comparison method includes recognizing at least two comparable products from at least one image; displaying at least one common attribute of the at least two comparable products through a user interface; and based on the user interface receiving a user input that selects one of the at least one common attribute, as a selected attribute, providing a result of comparison between the at least two comparable products with regard to the selected attribute.

A remote monitoring apparatus includes a distribution unit that (i) distributes to a user terminal a second image to which position information indicating a different position from that indicated by first position information, which is position information added to a first image, is added and to which time information indicating a same time as that indicated by first time information, which is time information added to the first image, is added when receiving from the user terminal a first switching instruction indicating image switching of the first image in one direction, and (ii) distributes to the user terminal a third image to which position information indicating a same position as that indicated by the first position information is added and to which time information indicating a different time from that indicated by the first time information is added, when receiving from the user terminal a second switching instruction indicating image switching of the first image in another direction that crosses the one direction.

AUTOMATED IMAGE RETRIEVAL WITH IMAGE GRAPH
20230401252 · 2023-12-14 ·

An image retrieval system receives an image for which to identify relevant images from an image repository. Relevant images may be of the same environment or object and features and other characteristics. Images in the repository are represented in an image retrieval graph by a set of image nodes connected by edges to other related image nodes with edge weights representing the similarity of the nodes to each other. Based on the received image, the image traversal system identifies an image in the image retrieval graph and alternatively explores and traverses (also termed “exploits”) the image nodes with the edge weights. In the exploration step, image nodes in an exploration set are evaluated to identify connected nodes that are added to a traversal set of image nodes. In the traversal step, the relevant nodes in the traversal set are added to the exploration set and a query result set.

DIGITAL IMAGE TAGGING APPARATUSES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS

In an exemplary embodiment, user input is received, a selected portion of a digital image is identified based on the user input, a data instance is selected, and a tag is applied to the selected portion of the digital image. The applied tag provides an association between the selected portion of the digital image and the data instance. In certain examples, a visual indicator representative of the tag is provided for display together with the tagged digital image.
