Systems, methods, and non-transitory computer readable media for managing content items having multiple resolutions may be provided. In some embodiments, a user device may send a request to access one or more images from a content management system. The one or more images may be categorized on the user device by an expected use that determines that the one or more images be in a first version. A second version of the one or more images may be received while a background download of the first version of the one or more images may be performed. In some embodiments, the first version may correspond to a high-resolution image whereas the second version may correspond to a lower resolution image.

Method for navigating through a set of images

The present invention relates to a method for navigating through a set of images depicting a scenery, said method comprising: receiving information relating to a subset of images within said set of images, said information comprising metadata of each image, said subset of images comprising images being acquired from a geographical position, which is within a bounding area surrounding the geographical position of a current image within the set of images; receiving weight information, said weight information controlling weights to be given to a plurality of different measures of similarities based on different types of metadata; and calculating a plurality of combined measures of similarity for pairs of images in the subset of images, said calculating being performed using said metadata and said weight information.

Clustering product media files

A method for clustering product media files is provided. The method includes dividing each media file corresponding to one or more products into a plurality of tiles. The media file include one of an image or a video. Feature vectors are computed for each tile of each media file. One or more patch clusters are generated using the plurality of tiles. Each patch cluster includes tiles having feature vectors similar to each other. The feature vectors of each media file are compared with feature vectors of each patch cluster. Based on comparison, product groups are then generated. All media files having comparison output similar to each other are grouped into one product group. Each product group includes one or more media files for one product. Apparatus for substantially performing the method as described herein is also provided.

Method and system for map image search using context of image

Provided is a method and system for performing a map image search based on the context of an image. A map image search method may include receiving a query for a map image search; searching for a map image corresponding to the query using context that is acquired as an image analysis result of the map image; and providing a service or content using the map image corresponding to the query.

TECHNIQUES FOR AUTOMATICALLY IDENTIFYING SECONDARY OBJECTS IN A STEREO-OPTICAL COUNTING SYSTEM

Techniques for distinguishing objects (e.g., an individual or an individual pushing a shopping cart) are disclosed. An object is detected in images of a scene. A height map is generated from the images, and the object is represented as height values in the height map. Based on height properties associated with another object, it is determined whether the other object is associated with the object. If so determined, the objects are classified separately.

Arbitrary view generation

Techniques for generating an arbitrary view of an asset are disclosed. In some embodiments, arbitrary view generation includes storing a set of images of an asset, wherein each image comprising at least a subset of the set of images has an overlapping field of view with at least one other image in the subset, and generating an image comprising an arbitrary perspective of the asset at least in part by populating the image comprising the arbitrary perspective with pixels harvested from one or more images comprising the set of images.

Picture storage method, apparatus and video monitoring system

The embodiments of the present application disclose a picture storage method, device and a video monitoring system, which relate to video monitoring technology field and are applied to a storage server in the video monitoring system. The method includes: receiving a picture writing request for an to-be-stored picture sent by the picture acquisition device; determining a first storage block for storing the to-be-stored picture according to the picture writing request; sending, to the picture acquisition device, a first identifier of the first storage block; receiving target picture data sent by the picture acquisition device according to the first identifier, wherein the target picture data includes the to-be-stored picture and a first capture time of the to-be-stored picture; storing the to-be-stored picture to the first storage block, determining a first storage time of the to-be-stored picture, and storing the first storage time and the first capture time into a first information sub-block of the first storage block. When storing pictures by applying the solution provided by the embodiments of the present application, the probability of an incorrect retrieval result in picture retrieval can be reduced.

System for creating interactive media and method of operating the same

A technology for allowing anyone to easily create interactive media capable of easily recognizing a user interaction by using a stored image is provided. A system according to the present invention includes an image reconstruction server, an image ontology, and an image repository. The image reconstruction server includes an image reconstruction controller, a natural language processing module, and an image search module. The image reconstruction controller of the image reconstruction server receives a scenario based on a natural language from a user and searches for images desired by the user by using the natural language processing module, the image search module, and the image repository. The natural language processing module of the image reconstruction server performs a morphological analysis and a syntax analysis on the scenario input by the user as a preliminary operation for the search of the image ontology. The image search module of the image reconstruction server automatically generates an ontology search query sentence, such as SPARQL, by using a result of natural language processing, and searches the image ontology by using the generated query sentence.
