METHOD AND DEVICE FOR GENERATING AN AUGMENTED IMAGE
An electronic device and method for generating an augmented image. The device includes an image sensor and an electronic processor. The electronic processor is configured to receive an image, retrieve a set of keywords, and identify a first set of features within the image corresponding to at least one keyword from the set of keywords, producing first metadata. The electronic processor is configured to compress the image, identify a second set of features within the compressed image, producing second metadata, and determine missing metadata between the first metadata and the second metadata. The electronic processor is configured to generate an augmented image by associating the missing metadata to the compressed image and perform at least one selected from the group consisting of transmitting the augmented image to another device and decompressing the augmented image to create a decompressed image and presenting the decompressed image including the missing metadata.

Embodiments of the present application disclose a method, device, system and server for acquiring and providing vehicle image data. The method for providing vehicle image data includes: receiving a query request message for vehicle image data which carries unique identification information (S201, S405); obtaining each piece of vehicle image data corresponding to the unique identification information based on the unique identification information and pieces of vehicle image data containing unique identification information stored in an image database, and providing each piece of vehicle image data corresponding to the unique identification information to a user (S202, S406); vehicle image data stored in the image database are sent by an image acquisition device after acquiring the vehicle image data, the vehicle image data acquired by the image acquisition device include image information of a vehicle, and unique identification information of at least one WiFi terminal obtained using a preset WiFi detector when acquiring the image information of the vehicle. In embodiments of the present application, multiple pieces of image information of a vehicle can be correlated and provided to a user together.

An information processing system includes an image search system and a customer-side system. The image search system includes a module distributer and a searcher. The module distributer is configured to distribute a search module and module identification information to the customer-side system while associating the search module and module identification information with each other. The search module is used for causing a terminal device to transmit the search request; the module identification information is used for identifying the search module. The searcher is configured to, as a result of causing the search module to run on the terminal device, execute the searching of the databases in accordance with the module identification information. The module distributer distributes, to the customer-side system, the search modules associated with different pieces of module identification information.

MOBILE IMAGE SEARCH SYSTEM
Systems, methods, devices, media, and computer-readable instructions are described for local image tagging and processing in a resource-constrained environment such as a mobile device. In some embodiments, characteristics associated with images are used to determine whether to store content (e.g., images and video clips) as ephemeral content or non-ephemeral content. Based on the determination, the image is stored in a non-ephemeral camera roll storage of the mobile device, or an ephemeral local application storage. Additional storage operations such as encryption or backup copying may additionally be determined and performed based on the analysis of the content. In some embodiments, such images may be indexed, sorted, and searched based on the image tagging operations used to characterize the content.

A method and apparatus for generating a stream of images representing a sequence of events related to a system. The apparatus defines a field view of a user from a 3D location within an enclosed area. The apparatus comprises a network interface module for receiving, from a first data source, the sequence of events related to the system, the sequence of events comprising actions of the user performed on one or more tangible instruments of the system, and for receiving, from a second data source, images related to at least a portion of the enclosed area within the field of view of the user. The apparatus further comprises an image generator module for determining a virtual camera position in the enclosed area from the 3D location, and for rendering the stream of images from the virtual camera position to produce a rendered stream of images.

SELECTING TRAINING SYMBOLS FOR SYMBOL RECOGNITION
A query is submitted to a search engine, where the query includes an identification of a symbol. A bounding box is generated in an unlabeled image returned by the search engine in response to the query. A confidence score is also generated that indicates a likelihood of the symbol being present in a portion of the unlabeled image enclosed by the bounding box. The unlabeled image is selected as a training image for training a system to recognize the symbol, when the confidence score is above a predefined threshold.
SELECTING TRAINING SYMBOLS FOR SYMBOL RECOGNITION
A query is submitted to a search engine, where the query includes an identification of a symbol. A bounding box is generated in an unlabeled image returned by the search engine in response to the query.
