IMAGE PROCESSING DEVICE AND IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD
An image processing device includes an obtainer that obtains a single image and meta information indicating additional information of the image; and an analyzer that performs an analysis of a meaning of the image and the meta information obtained, determines an event shown in the image, using the meaning obtained by the analysis, and outputs event information that identifies the event determined.
Distributed computing system with a crowdsourcing engine
Various embodiments, methods and systems for implementing a distributed computing system crowdsourcing engine are provided. Initially, a source asset is received from a distributed synthetic data as a service (SDaaS) crowdsource interface. A crowdsource tag is received for the source asset via the distributed SDaaS crowdsource interface. Based in part on the crowdsource tag, the source asset is ingested. Ingesting the source asset comprises automatically computing values for asset-variation parameters of the source asset. The asset-variation parameters are programmable for machine-learning. A crowdsourced synthetic data asset comprising the values for asset-variation parameters is generated.
Virtual world generation engine
A virtual world generation engine and methods for generating virtual worlds from images collected from various sources, including crowdsourced images. A virtual world generation engine may obtain images (e.g., digital photographs, digital video frames, etc.) related to a particular real-world scene, combine the images using image processing techniques such as image stitching techniques to generate composite images representing a view of the scene, and generate models from the composite images. The models may be used in rendering video content representing virtual worlds generated from the collected images of real-world scenes; the video content may be streamed to client device(s). Obtaining the images, generating models, rendering video content from the models, and streaming the video content may be performed in response to user interactions with video content on the client device(s) to allow interactive exploration of the virtual worlds in real-time or near-real time.

Searching digital content
One or more embodiments allow a user to search a gallery of digital content. In particular, a user can interact with a digital content system to search for, and identify, one or more digital content items (e.g., photos, videos, audio) within a collection of digital content. For instance, the digital content system can maintain tokens with respect to a collection of digital content and associate the tokens with digital content items within the collection of digital content. The digital content system can also provide a gallery of digital content items within a view area of a graphical user interface. Upon receiving a search query, the digital content system can identify a token and identify digital content items corresponding to the token. The digital content system can further provide a new or modified gallery within the view area of the graphical user interface based on the identified digital content items.

Location-based method and system for requesting and obtaining images
Technology is disclosed for using geographic information that reflects the current locations for a plurality of image providers to find image providers that are capable of fulfilling image requests from image requesters, where the image requests are associated with various geographic locations. In an example embodiment, the technology can be used to find video footage of news events in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
