METHOD FOR CLUSTERING AT LEAST TWO TIMESTAMPED PHOTOGRAPHS
20210073269 · 2021-03-11 ·

A method for clustering at least two groups of photographs, wherein at least two users are each identified by a unique identifier, the unique identifiers of said users being associated in at least one memory, each user having at least two photographs comprising: for each user: a step of capturing at least two photographs; a step of assigning, to each captured photograph, at least one metadata defined by a type, a step of comparing the metadata assigned to each photograph to determine at least one discriminant type, a step of grouping at least two photographs by discriminant type of metadata, a step of comparing the number of photographs in a group to a first predefined limit value, wherein, if the number of photographs in the group is superior to the first predefined limit value, a step of clustering the photographs of the group is performed, then, for at least one user: step of determining a degree of similarity of a cluster of photographs from one of the users to a cluster of photographs from another of the users depending on metadata of photographs within said clusters; a step of comparing the degree of similarity to a second predefined limit value; if the degree of similarity is superior to the second predefined limit value, a step of defining a common cluster among the users containing the photographs of said clusters and displaying a message indicating that a common cluster has been defined.

USE OF ON-SCREEN CONTENT IDENTIFIERS IN AUTOMATED TOOL CONTROL SYSTEMS

An inventory control system comprises an object storage device, a display device, and one or more processors. The object storage device includes a plurality of compartments, in which each compartment has a plurality of storage locations for storing objects. The display device is configured to display information about the object storage device. The one or more processors are configured to establish a description database of objects configured for storage in the inventory control system. The one or more processors retrieve object keywords corresponding to objects stored in the plurality of storage locations of one of the plurality of compartments. The one or more processors also generate a text block based on the retrieved object keywords. On the display device, the one or more processors display a representation of the plurality of compartments of the object storage device with the text block applied to the one of the plurality of compartments.

CONTEXT-BASED IMAGE TAG TRANSLATION
20210064704 · 2021-03-04 ·

In some embodiments, a context-based translation application generates a co-occurrence data structure for a target language describing co-occurrences of target language words and source language words. The context-based translation application receives an input tag for an input image in the source language to be translated into the target language. The context-based translation application obtains multiple candidate translations in the target language for the input tag and determines a translated tag from the multiple candidate translations based on the co-occurrence data structure. The context-based translation application further associates the translated tag with the input image.

RESTORING INTEGRITY OF A SOCIAL MEDIA THREAD FROM A SOCIAL NETWORK EXPORT
20210073268 · 2021-03-11 ·

The disclosed technology addresses the need in the art for a service that can ingest a social network export and restore the integrity of threads within the social network export. The present technology can unite images in the social network export with the caption from the initial post, and with any comments within the thread. Likewise, images in the social network export can be enhanced to include metadata that reflects when the image was posted and any other contextual information that the social network provides in export file.

METHOD AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE FOR GENERATING AT LEAST ONE DATA ITEM FROM SCREENSHOT

A method for generating at least one data item from a screenshot and an electronic device therefor are provided. The method includes detecting, by the electronic device, a screenshot comprising content displayed on a screen of the electronic device and determining, by the electronic device, data item parameters associated with the content in the screenshot. The method also includes generating, by the electronic device, at least one data item from the screenshot based on the data item parameters, and storing, by the electronic device, the at least one data item in a file in the electronic device.

RATE AND SEE MOVIE TITLE RATING SYSTEM
20210073874 · 2021-03-11 · ·

A computer-implemented method includes communicating a ratings user interface to allow a user to provide a movie title rating value, wherein a movie title rating value is based upon a user's unique appreciation and/or enjoyment of the movie title. The method further includes receiving one or more movie title rating values, the one or more movie title rating value input by the user into the ratings user interface. In addition, the method includes generating one or more movie card images, by the server computing device, for the one or more movie titles based at least in part on the received one or more movie title rating values, the one or more movie card images varying in border design, color, filtering techniques, or opacity based at least in part on the received movie title rating values; and communicating the one or more generated movie card images.

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI) POWERED ANALYSIS OF OBJECTS OBSERVABLE THROUGH A MICROSCOPE
20210082570 · 2021-03-18 ·

Introduced here are computer programs and associated computer-implemented techniques for autonomously analyzing images of blood smears that are captured during an examination session. Initially, an optical adapter device may be attached to the eyepiece of a microscope. The optical adapter device may be designed to facilitate alignment of the camera of an electronic device with the eyepiece of the microscope. As part of an examination session, the electronic device may generate a series of images of a blood smear on a slide that is viewable through the eyepiece. Generally, the electronic device is detachably connectable to the optical adapter so that it can be removed from the optical adapter device after generating the series of images. The series of images can be partially or entirely processed by a diagnostic platform in an automated manner using artificial intelligence or machine learning algorithms in order to streamline the diagnostic process.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF METADATA AND IMAGE MANAGEMENT FOR REVIEWING DATA FROM TRANSMISSION ELECTRON MICROSCOPE (TEM) SESSIONS

Disclosed herein are methods and systems of metadata management for reviewing data from microscopy experimental sessions. Image data from an experimental session is stored in an archive at one or more filepath locations, either locally or on a network. Metadata associated with the image data is stored in a database with a reference to the filepath where the raw image is stored, such that the metadata is associated in the database with the image data. A user can perform post-experimental filtering, sorting, and searching of the underlying image data using the metadata, which allows the image data to be analyzed without duplication of the image data and without manual review of each individual image. The filtered data is presented in an interactive timeline format.
