DETERMINING AN ITEM THAT HAS CONFIRMED CHARACTERISTICS
In various example embodiments, a system and method for determining an item that has confirmed characteristics are described herein. An image that depicts an object is received from a client device. Structured data that corresponds to characteristics of one or more items are retrieved. A set of characteristics is determined, the set of characteristics being predicted to match with the object. An interface that includes a request for confirmation of the set of characteristics is generated. The interface is displayed on the client device. Confirmation that at least one characteristic from the set of characteristics matches with the object depicted in the image is received from the client device.

INFORMATION SUGGESTION SYSTEM, INFORMATION SUGGESTION METHOD, PROGRAM, AND RECORDING MEDIUM
Provided are an information suggestion system, an information suggestion method, a program, and a recording medium capable of suggesting information of interest to many users to a product provider related to the information from an image group of a plurality of users.
In the information suggestion system, the information suggestion method, the program, and the recording medium, an image group acquisition unit acquires an image group of a plurality of users, and an image analysis unit detects an imaging location of each image and an object appearing in each image. An imaging number count unit counts an imaging number of same-type images which are captured at the same imaging location and in which the same object appears, and an imaging frequency calculation unit calculates an imaging frequency of the same-type images. An information suggestion unit suggests same-type image information related to the same imaging location and the same object of the same-type image of which the imaging number and the imaging frequency satisfy a predetermined condition to a product provider related to the same-type image information.
Systems and methods for selecting content items to store and present locally on a user device
Systems, methods, and non-transitory computer readable media for dynamically selecting and sending content items to a user device based on various network and device conditions are provided. In some embodiments, a listing of images stored within a user account on a content management system may be generated, and a selection probability value may be assigned to each image within the listing. An available capacity level on the user device may be determined, and images may be dynamically selected to be sent to the user device based on the determined available capacity level and each image's selection probability value. In some embodiments, each image's selection probability value may be based on one or more factors. For example, images that have been recently viewed, recently added to a collection of images, and/or shared within a shared virtual space created by the user, may receive higher selection probability values than other images. In some embodiments, the selected images may be ranked in order of priority for transmission to the user device and sent to the user device in order of rank.
Cell image search apparatus, method, and program
The cell image search apparatus includes: an image set storage unit; a captured image acquisition unit that acquires a plurality of captured images obtained by imaging cells in time series; an image feature amount extraction unit that extracts an image feature amount from each cell image of the image set and each of the plurality of captured images; an image search unit that searches for a captured image similar to each cell image of the image set, among the plurality of captured images, based on image feature amounts of each cell image of the image set and the plurality of captured images; and a search result output unit that outputs a search result in a case where captured images similar to at least two cell images included in the image set are searched for by the image search unit.
Iterative image search algorithm informed by continuous human-machine input feedback
System and computer-implemented image search engine of analyzing tags associated with a sequence of images presented to a user to present a current object of interest of the user is disclosed. An image from among a plurality of images is presented on an electronic display. The image is associated with a set of tags. An input is received indicating a user's preference for the image. A plurality of tags is processed based on the preference and the set of tags to determine a next set of tags from the plurality of tags. A next image is determined from the plurality of images based on the next set of tags. The next image represents a physical object, different from a physical object represented by the previous image. A sequence of images is generated by repeating the above process with the next image in place of the previous image for present a user's current object of interest.

System and method for selecting sponsored images to accompany text
A system for selecting an image to accompany text from a user in connection with a social media post. The system includes receiving text from the user; identifying one or more search terms based on the text; identifying candidate images from images in one or more image databases using the search terms, where the candidate images comprise a sponsored image; presenting one or more candidate images to the user, where the sponsored image is presented preferentially compared to other candidate images; receiving from the user a selected image from the one or more candidate images; generating the social media post comprising the selected image and the user-submitted text; and transmitting the social media post for display.
