A compatibility module is configured to compute, based on the vector representation of the first text-image pair and the vector representation of the second text-image pair, a compatibility score for a triplet including the reference image, the text modifier, and the candidate target image. A ranking module is configured to rank a set of candidate target images including the candidate target image by compatibility scores.

An embodiment includes processing a dataset to generate a set of feature vectors that include a first feature vector corresponding to a first concept within a user's areas of interest and a second feature vector corresponding to a second concept within the user's areas of study. The embodiment identifies clusters of the feature vectors and identifies key features that most contribute to influencing the clustering algorithm. The embodiment selects the first feature vector in response to a user query, and then selects the second feature vector based on an overlap between key features of the first and second feature vectors and a degree of dissimilarity between the first and second concepts. The embodiment outputs a query response that includes the second concept. The embodiment also determines an effectiveness value based on sensor data indicative of a user action responsive to the outputting of the response to the query.

The processing circuit calculates a similarity degree between the query condition and each of a plurality of reference cases represented by a query target. The processing circuit queries a similar reference case similar to the query condition from a viewpoint of the meta query condition, among the plurality of reference cases, based on the similarity degree. The processing circuit presents a query result on the similar reference case.

A system for file image processing and extraction of content from images is provided. The system comprises a computer and an application. When executed on the computer, the application receives a source document containing areas of interest and normalizes the document to align with a stored template image. The application also applies metadata associated with the template image to the areas of interest to identify data fields in the normalized document and extracts data from the identified data fields. The application also processes the extracted data using at least character recognition systems and produces a static structure using at least the identified data fields, the fields containing the processed data. The areas of interest comprise portions of the source document containing text needed to create and populate fields suggested by the stored template image. Normalizing the source document comprises at least one of flipping, rotating, expanding, and shrinking the document.

A processor may receive image data from a plurality of images of a scene into a storage system, the image data including inference labels and contextual information associated with each of the plurality of images. The processor may detect, based on the inference labels and contextual information, that one or more images of the plurality of images is a duplicate of the scene. The processor may execute, in response to detecting that the one or more images of the plurality of images is the duplicate of the scene, an action related to the plurality of images.

A computer-implemented method of associating digital tags with digital files comprises storing a plurality of digital files having embedded therein content data and metadata including tags; receiving, via a user interface device of a client device, a first tag label containing alphanumeric text created and inputted by a user of the client device; modifying, using a controller device, a selected first one of the tags of the metadata in a first of the digital files to include the first tag label; receiving, via the user interface device or another user interface device, an instruction to search for all of the digital files having at least the first tag label; responsive to receiving the instruction, automatically searching for all of the digital files having at least the first tag label; and displaying, on a video display device associated with the client device, a first indication of the first tag label.

A machine may be configured to access an image of an item described by a description of the item. The machine may determine an image quality score of the image based on an analysis of the image. A request for search results that pertain to the description may be received by the machine, and the machine may present a search result that references the item's image, based on its image quality score. Also, the machine may access images of items and descriptions of items and generate a set of most frequent text tokens included in the item descriptions. The machine may identify an image feature exhibited by an item's image and determine that a text token from the corresponding item description matches one of the most frequent text tokens. A data structure may be generated by the machine to correlate the identified image feature with the text token.
