SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR GENERATING A REQUESTED IMAGE VIEW
Systems and methods for generating a requested image view are disclosed. Exemplary implementations may: electronically store map information and contextual information for an area; receive a query for the requested image view; determine, based on the parameter values specified by the query and the map information, values of the physics-based metric; translate the contextual information to a translated representation of the contextual information; encode, based on the translated representation of the contextual information and the values of the physics-based metric, an image file that defines the requested image view such that the translated representation of the contextual information and the values of the physics-based metric are combined; and generate the requested image view by decoding the image file.
METHOD, APPARATUS, AND SYSTEM FOR DATA COLLECTION, TRANSFORMATION AND EXTRACTION TO SUPPORT IMAGE AND TEXT SEARCH OF ANTIQUES AND COLLECTABLES
Generating a knowledge base in a database, the knowledge base including a first field which specifies a plurality of known brands of a plurality of known objects, a second field which specifies a plurality of known categories corresponding to the plurality of known objects, and a third field which specifies a plurality of sets of known image-based parameters of the plurality of known objects; receiving in one or more computer memories an indication of a brand, an indication of a category, and an image-based description parameter for a particular object; comparing, the indications of the brand, the category, and the image-based description parameter for the particular object with one or more of the plurality of known brands, known categories, and sets of known image based parameters, respectively, and providing an indication of whether the particular object is one or more of the plurality of known objects, based, on the comparisons.
AUTOMATIC CHARACTERIZATION OF MEDIA FILES
Introduced here are systems to automatically characterize media data into a record of a database. A database server may receive a first media data. The database server can identify meta data characteristics from metadata included within the first media data and media data characteristics indicating features of the first media data. The first metadata characteristics may be inspected to determine whether they match a first classification identified with a metadata confidence level that exceeds a threshold metadata confidence level. The first media data characteristics may be inspected to determine whether they match a second classification with a media data confidence level that exceeds a threshold media data confidence level. The first media data may be associated with a first record based on at least one of the first metadata characteristics matching the first classification and the first media data characteristics matching the second classification.
Cloud-based large-scale pathological image collaborative annotation method and system
An image preprocessing module is provided by the present invention to pre-process pathological images through superpixel segmentation in the cloud infrastructure, and meanwhile stores the boundary thereof by using the binary image; and performing multi-user data recording by the data recording module, so that the user can collaborate on image annotation; through the front-end interaction module, the capturing action of the user and displaying the pathological image; through the back-end processing module, the responding to the request sent by the front-end interaction module and completing the annotation of the data and the suggesting possible annotation sub-regions to the users. Through the effects achieved by the above modules, the present invention accomplishes the purpose of multi-user collaborative and convenient pixel-level annotation on pathological images via a webpage.

Image display apparatus, topic selection method, topic selection program, image display method, and image display program
An image display apparatus includes a display section configured to display a character, a conversation section by which the character executes a conversation with a user, and a chat section by which the character executes a chat with a communication terminal of the user, wherein the conversation section selects a next topic on the basis of content of an executed conversation and content of the chat executed by the chat section, and the chat section selects the next topic on the basis of content of an executed chat and content of the conversation executed by the conversation section.
MULTIPLE PARTIAL-IMAGE COMPOSITIONAL SEARCHING
Partial-image search criteria are derived that include a combination of multiple partial-image user selections of portions of at least one image. Visual search results are returned responsive to a search for images that correspond to the derived partial-image search criteria. The visual search results include at least one identified image that includes features that correspond to the derived partial-image search criteria that include the combination of the multiple partial-image user selections.
System And Method For Capturing And Sharing A Location Based Experience
A system and method for capturing a location based experience at an event including a plurality of mobile devices having a camera employed near a point of interest to capture random, crowdsourced images and associated metadata near said point of interest. In a preferred form, the images include depth camera information from prepositioned devices around the point of interest during the event. A network communicates images, depth information, and metadata to build a 3D model of the region, preferably with the location of contributors known. Users connect to this experience platform to view the 3D model from a user selected location and orientation and to participate in experiences with, for example, a social network.
Method for Image-Processing and Mobile Terminal
A method for image-processing is disclosed. The method includes obtaining first image-information of an image that is to be clustered in response to a first preset condition being met; clustering the image according to the first image-information and obtaining a first clustering-result; sending an image-clustering request to a server in response to a second preset condition being met, wherein the image-clustering request is configured to indicate the server to cluster the image which has been uploaded to the server and obtain a second clustering-result; and receiving the second clustering-result returned from the first server and updating at least one of the first clustering-result and the second clustering-result according to a preset rule.
Automatically Associating an Image with an Audio Track
Techniques described herein automatically associate an image with an audio track. At least some implementations identify an audio track of interest, and automate associating an image with the audio track. Some implementations gather context information during playback of an audio track, and use the context information to automatically identify an image to associate with the audio track. Upon associating the image with the audio track, various implementations render the image during subsequent playback of the audio track.
