SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING USER REPEATABILITY AND REPRODUCIBILITY OF AUTOMATED IMAGE ANNOTATION CORRECTION
Systems and methods are disclosed for controlling image annotation. One method includes acquiring a digital representation of image data and generating a set of image annotations for the digital representation of the image data. The method also may include determining an association between members of the set of image annotations and generating one or more groups of members based on the association. A representative annotation from the one or more groups may also be determined, presented for selection, and the selection may be recorded in memory.
Interactive System And Method Of Instrumenting A Bio-Manufacturing Process
Instrumenting or modeling a bio-manufacturing process is disclosed. A data store holds information regarding one or more bio-manufacturing processes. For each process, the data store information includes workflow steps and per step indications of required equipment, services and consumables according to best practice and/or experts. A videographic user interface enables user interactive input regarding a subject bio-manufacturing process from the data store. The user-interface presents a model representation of deployment of the subject bio-manufacturing process. The user interactively navigates and makes selections in the displayed model representation. The user selections include certain bio-manufacturing products, equipment and services from an image database. The images from the image database enable the views of the model representation to appear true to life demonstrating equipment/product layout and physical equipment/computer connections used in the subject bio-manufacturing process. The videographic user interface utilizes various visual effects to guide the user sequentially or logically (and based on best practice and right fit rules) through the steps and pieces of equipment forming the subject bio-manufacturing process.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR PROCESSING METADATA
A method and an electronic device are disclosed. The method includes obtaining an image, obtaining information of the image, obtaining content information of content included in the image, obtaining related information which relates to the image based on at least one of the information of the image and the content information, and classifying the image into at least one category based on a plurality of defined information/data elements and a relation among the information/data elements and metadata of the image.

Image Compression
A device, system, and method performs an image compression. The method includes receiving raw image data of an image and identifying objects in the image as one of a foreground object or a background object. The method includes generating first foreground image data for a first foreground object. The method includes generating first metadata for a first background object. The first metadata indicates a first identity and a first descriptive parameter for the first background object. The first descriptive parameter relates to how the first background object is situated in the image. The method includes generating first background image data for the first background object. The first background image data is empty data. The method includes storing processed image data for the image comprising the first foreground image data, the first metadata, and the first background image data.
Digital Image Search Training using Aggregated Digital Images
Digital image search training techniques and machine-learning architectures are described. In one example, a query digital image is received by service provider system, which is then used to select at least one positive sample digital image, e.g., having a same product ID. A plurality of negative sample digital images is also selected by the service provider system based on the query digital image, e.g., having different product IDs. The at least one positive sample digital image and the plurality of negative samples are then aggregated by the service provider system into a single aggregated digital image. At least one neural network is then trained by the service provider system using a loss function based on a feature comparison between the query digital image and samples from the aggregated digital image in a single pass.
Search engines and systems with handheld document data capture devices
Embodiments of the disclosed innovations provide systems and methods for locating data associated with rendered documents. Some embodiments support the use of a handheld document data capture device.

Object information derived from object images
An image-based transaction system includes a mobile device with an image sensor that is programmed to capture, via the image sensor, a digital images of a scene. The mobile device identifies a document using image characteristics from the captured images and acquires an image of at least a part of the document, and then identifies symbols in the image based on locations within the image of the document. The symbols can include alphanumeric symbols. The mobile device processes the symbols according to their type to obtain an address related to the document and the symbols and initiates a transaction associated with the identified document.
Database systems and user interfaces for dynamic and interactive mobile image analysis and identification
Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to systems, techniques, methods, and computer-readable mediums for one or more database systems configured to perform image identification of an image captured using a remote mobile device, and display of identity information associated with the captured image on the remote mobile device, in communication with the database system(s). A system obtains an image captured using a camera on a remote mobile device and performs image analysis to identify the captured image using reference images in one or more databases. The system can present the results for display an interactive user interface on the remote mobile device.
