20200081932 · 2020-03-12 ·

A system for large-scale crowd sourcing of map data cleanup and correction, comprising an application server that generates image data, sends image data to a user device, receives tagging data provided by the device user, and provides tags to a crowdsourced search and locate server based on tagging data from a user device, a crowdsourced search and locate server that receives tags from an application server, computes agreement and disagreement values and performs expectation-maximization analysis, and a map data server that stores and provides map data, and a method for estimating location and quality of a set of geolocation data.

Method for visual search, corresponding system, apparatus and computer program product

Local descriptors are extracted from digital image information and digital depth information related to digital images. The local descriptors convey appearance description information and shape description information related to the digital images. Global representations of the one or more digital images are generated based on the extracted local descriptors, and are hashed. Visual search queries are generated based on the hashed global representations. The visual search queries include fused appearance description information and shape description information conveyed in the local descriptors. The fusing may occur before the global representations are generated, before the hashing or after the hashing.

Touch and pressure-based apparel image searching

Methods, systems, and computer program products for pressure-based apparel image searching are provided herein. A computer-implemented method includes determining an object of interest within an image displayed on a screen by detecting physical contact imparted by a user at a particular position on the screen corresponding to where the first object is located; quantifying the amount of pressure applied by the user via the physical contact; determining additional objects of interest based on the amount of pressure applied by the user by identifying objects that are located within a specified distance from the first object, and wherein the specified distance corresponds to the amount of pressure applied by the user; retrieving, from at least one electronic commerce website, images of products corresponding to the first object of interest and images of products corresponding to each of the additional objects of interest; and displaying the retrieved images on the screen.

Photo processing method and apparatus

The present disclosure discloses a photo processing method and an apparatus for grouping photos into photo albums based on facial recognition results. The method includes: performing face detection on multiple photos, to obtain a face image feature set, each face image feature in the face image feature set corresponding to one of the multiple photos; determining a face-level similarity for each pair of face image features in the face image feature set; determining a photo-level similarity between each pair of photos in the multiple photos in accordance with their associated face-level similarities; generating a photo set for each target photo in the multiple photos, wherein any photo-level similarity between the target photo and another photo in the photo set exceeds a predefined photo-level threshold; and generating a label for each photo set using photographing location and photographing time information associated with the photos in the photo set.

Method and system for computer-aided patient stratification based on case difficulty

When evaluating patient cases to determine complexity thereof, a computer-aided stratification technique is applied to analyze historical patient case diagnoses and correctness thereof in order to calculate a stratification score (20) for each of a plurality of abnormality types and/or anatomical locations. When a new patient case is received, the computer-aided stratification technique is applied to evaluate the patient case in view of historical data and assign a stratification score thereto. A ranked list (21) of current patient cases can be generated according to stratification scores, and physician workload can be adjusted as a function thereof so that workload is balanced across physicians and/or according to physician experience level.

Information processing server, client, and information processing system

Provided is an information processing server and the like, in which in response to the start of an on period of the movable body V, imaged images that are registered at the client 2 and a designated location are associated and transmitted to an information processing server 1. An image corresponding to a first designated location that is a designated location that is outside a base area that is specific to the client 2 is registered as a first image in the information processing server 1. Further, an image library with respect to a trip period of the client 2 is generated based on a plurality of first images that are registered in the information processing server 1 in response to the start of an off period of the movable body V that occurs one or a plurality of times.

Real time object description service integrated with knowledge center on augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) devices

In one embodiment, a system includes a processing circuit and logic integrated with the processing circuit, executable by the processing circuit, or integrated with and executable by the processing circuit. The logic is configured to cause the processing circuit to obtain an image of an object viewed by a user of an augmented reality or virtual reality device (hereafter the AR/VR device). The logic is also configured to cause the processing circuit to determine one or more keywords that describe the object and search at least one knowledge base using the one or more keywords and contextual factors to produce context relevant to the object. Moreover, the logic is configured to cause the processing circuit to send the context to the AR/VR device.

SHARING IMAGES AND IMAGE ALBUMS OVER A COMMUNICATION NETWORK

Implementations relate to sharing images and image albums over a communication network. In some implementations, a computer-implemented method includes determining that a shared album data structure is accessible by a device and includes references to album images. The device determines one or more suggested images from a collection of stored images associated with a user, based on determining sharing scores for the stored images. The sharing scores are based on comparing one or more characteristics of the stored images to one or more corresponding characteristics of the album images. The method includes causing display of the one or more suggested images by the device, receiving a selection of at least one selected image of the suggested images based on received user input, and causing an update of the shared album data structure with the at least one selected image to be accessible over a communication network by recipient users.
