In one embodiment, a system includes a processing circuit and logic integrated with the processing circuit, executable by the processing circuit, or integrated with and executable by the processing circuit. The logic is configured to cause the processing circuit to obtain an image of an object viewed by a user of an augmented reality or virtual reality device (hereafter the AR/VR device). The logic is also configured to cause the processing circuit to determine one or more keywords that describe the object and search at least one knowledge base using the one or more keywords and contextual factors to produce context relevant to the object. Moreover, the logic is configured to cause the processing circuit to send the context to the AR/VR device.

A method of generating log data that includes a plurality of records, in which information detected through image recognition processing on a plurality of image frames is recorded. The method includes, detecting objects in each image frame through the image recognition processing, generating a record including identification information of each image frame and the aggregated number of objects detected in the image frame for each image frame, and adding metadata relating to the detected objects to the corresponding record when the aggregated number of objects is equal to or greater than one. When the aggregated number of objects is zero, the metadata related to the detected objects is not added to the record.

The disclosure relates to determining thermal insulation levels of clothing a user should wear when traveling to a destination. To do this, a thermal insulation level of clothing worn by a user and levels worn by a crowd can be analyzed from images including the user or the crowd. A thermal sensitivity bias for the user can be determined by comparing those levels for similar locations. Environment data can then be collected for the destination. A thermal insulation level of clothing worn by the crowd for the destination can be predicted based on the environment data. This level can be adjusted with the bias for the user to generate a thermal insulation level of clothing to be worn by the user at the destination. An image having clothing with that level can be displayed to recommend a style of clothing for the user to wear at the destination.

Apparatuses and methods associated with personal history in a track and trace system are disclosed herein. In embodiments, a method includes acquiring first information corresponding to a physical object; identifying first authentication data based on the first information; storing the first authentication data in a database system; subsequent to storing the first authentication data, acquiring second information corresponding to a target physical object and identifying second authentication data based on the second information; identifying third information corresponding to the target physical object; querying the database system to seek a matching record based on the second authentication data; in the case that a matching record is returned responsive to the querying, updating the matching record with an indication that the second authentication data was matched to it and updating history data of said matching record based on said third information. A computer-implemented method includes determining an object of interest within an image displayed on a screen by detecting physical contact imparted by a user at a particular position on the screen corresponding to where the first object is located; quantifying the amount of pressure applied by the user via the physical contact; determining additional objects of interest based on the amount of pressure applied by the user by identifying objects that are located within a specified distance from the first object, and wherein the specified distance corresponds to the amount of pressure applied by the user; retrieving, from at least one electronic commerce website, images of products corresponding to the first object of interest and images of products corresponding to each of the additional objects of interest; and displaying the retrieved images on the screen.
