TEXTILE MATCHING USING COLOR AND PATTERN RECOGNITION AND METHODS OF USE

Textile matching using color and pattern recognition and methods of use are provided herein. An example method includes analyzing an image (305) of a first article of clothing to obtain color information and pattern information (205-230), comparing the color information and pattern information of the first article of clothing to color information and pattern information for a plurality of other articles of clothing (using Bayesian probability analysis to determine matched pairs, and providing a user with wardrobe suggestions using the matched pairs (705-740).

Identification using mobile device signatures and cameras

A mesh of existing infrastructures is usable to identify user identities and communications devices with physical objects (e.g., transportation vehicles, apparel, etc.). A system can receive image data representative of images of physical objects captured (e.g., by a camera) at locations. The system can also receive signal data representative of signals from communications devices. Based on time data and location data associated with the image data and the signal data, the system can, after multiple iterations, determine whether one of the physical objects is correlated with one of the communications devices. In response to a correlation, the system can store in a record data (e.g., a container, database, etc.) data elements representative of the physical object and a second data element associated with the communications device.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DETECTING, TRACKING AND COUNTING HUMAN OBJECTS OF INTEREST USING A COUNTING SYSTEM AND A DATA CAPTURE DEVICE

A method for counting and tracking defined objects includes the step of receiving subset data with a data capturing device , wherein the subset data is associated with defined objects and includes a unique identifier, an entry time, an exit time, and location data for each defined object. The method further includes the steps of receiving subset data at a counting system, counting the defined objects, tracking the defined objects, associating a location of a defined object with a predefined area, and/or generating path data by plotting X and Y coordinates for the defined object within the predefined area at sequential time periods.

Systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media can store a set of image portions that forms an image at a specified resolution. A request for the image can be acquired from a client device. The request can include information about one or more properties associated with the client device. A subset of image portions can be selected out of the set of image portions based on the one or more properties associated with the client device. The subset of image portions can be transmitted to the client device in response to the request.

Object recognition system and method of registering a new object

An object recognition system includes a storage device, a reading unit, an output device, and a processor. The storage device stores a dictionary containing attributes of a plurality of registered objects. The attributes includes at least a category and feature values. The reading unit includes an image capturing device. The processor registers a new object by (i) extracting a feature value of the new object from an image of the new object captured by the image capturing device, (ii) comparing the extracted feature value with feature values of registered objects that are registered in the dictionary to calculate a similarity degree therebetween, (iii) registering the extracted feature value in the dictionary as a determination criteria for an object recognition, and (iv) outputting a notification through the output device prior to the registering, upon a result of the comparing meets a predetermined condition.

A method for location validation through physical surroundings is described. In one embodiment, the method includes receiving a location of a user device, transmitting to the user device, a request for additional information, receiving the additional information from the user device in response to the request, the second identifier matching the first identifier, comparing the received additional information with stored data pre-associated with the received location, and verifying the received location based at least in part on the comparing. In some embodiments, the request for additional information includes at least one of a request for a first image captured at a first direction, a request for a second image captured at a second direction, a request for a third image captured at a pre-determined tilt angle, a request for a stream of images captured in a pre-determined pattern, or any combination thereof.
