AUTOMATIC GENERATION OF ELECTRONIC ADVERTISING MESSAGES CONTAINING ONE OR MORE AUTOMATICALLY SELECTED STOCK PHOTOGRAPHY IMAGES
A facility for constructing a display module in connection with a web page is described. The facility obtains content associated with the web page and uses the obtained content to generate a query used to select an image. The facility then generates the display module that incorporates the selected image.
GEOGRAPHIC POPULATION HEALTH INFORMATION SYSTEM
A method and system for providing a data analysis in the form of a customized geographic visualization on a graphical user interface (GUI) on a remote client computing device using only a web browser on the remote client device. The system receives a user's selected data analysis to be performed by the system for display on the remote client device. The system verifies the data access permissions of the user to render a data analysis solution customized to that particular user, and automatically prevents that user from gaining access to data analysis solutions to which that user is prohibited. The system is configured to respond to the user's data analysis request, perform the necessary computations on the server side on the fly, and send a dataset interpretable by the client device's web browser for display on the client device or on a device associated with the client device.
Methods and apparatuses for assisting the production of media works and the like
Systems and methods for assisting one or more users in the production of a media work from a plurality of recordings are disclosed. In an exemplary embodiment, digital versions of the recordings are stored on a file-storage server accessible over a communications network. A media-library server provides an organized way for users to access and view the digital versions, and to associate various data files with the digital versions, such as transcription files, logging files, and storyboard documents. The exemplary media library generates web pages that enable users to search and access the digital versions from an internet browser running on a conventional personal computer. The browser also enables users to view the digital versions with a browser-compatible media viewer.

Correlating image annotations with foreground features
A machine may be configured to execute a machine-learning process for identifying and understanding fine properties of various items of various types by using images and associated corresponding annotations, such as titles, captions, tags, keywords, or other textual information applied to these images. By use of a machine-learning process, the machine may perform property identification accurately and without human intervention. These item properties may be used as annotations for other images that have similar features. Accordingly, the machine may answer user-submitted questions, such as “What do rustic items look like?,” and items or images depicting items that are deemed to be rustic can be readily identified, classified, ranked, or any suitable combination thereof.

Technique for controlling virtual image generation system using emotional states of user
A method of operating a virtual image generation system comprises allowing an end user to interact with a three-dimensional environment comprising at least one virtual object, presenting a stimulus to the end user in the context of the three-dimensional environment, sensing at least one biometric parameter of the end user in response to the presentation of the stimulus to the end user, generating biometric data for each of the sensed biometric parameter(s), determining if the end user is in at least one specific emotional state based on the biometric data for the each of the sensed biometric parameter(s), and performing an action discernible to the end user to facilitate a current objective at least partially based on if it is determined that the end user is in the specific emotional state(s).
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD AND STORAGE MEDIUM
The present disclosure has an object to provide an information processing apparatus utilizing an image transmitted from a server and displayed on an operation screen of the apparatus's main body. An information processing apparatus includes: reception unit configured to receive notification information from a server system formed by one or more server apparatuses; obtainment unit configured to obtain an image according to identification information, being included in the notification information, for indicating a storage location of the image in the server system; display unit configured to display the image upon triggered by a lapse of a predetermined period or by a particular event; and execution unit configured to execute a function associated with an object in response to an input made by a user with respect to the object included in the image displayed by the display unit.
DYNAMIC SERVICE OF IMAGE METADATA
Disclosed herein are methods and systems for dynamically serving image metadata. The method includes receiving, at an image service system from a client system, a request for obtaining an image. The image is associated with inherent metadata. The method includes serving, by the image service system, the image to the client system in response to the request for obtaining the image. While serving the image to the client system, the method includes modifying, by the image service system, the inherent metadata associated with the image that is served to the client system in accordance with a predetermined criterion. The inherent metadata of the image stored by the image service system is not modified and the predetermined criterion is based on a context associated with the request of the image.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR INTEGRATING KNOWLEDGE FROM A PLURALITY OF DATA SOURCES
Computer-implemented systems and methods for integrating knowledge from a plurality of data sources are provided. An example method involves operating at least one processor to store a unified split data structure specific to a user profile for derived knowledge and receive a request for knowledge from a computing device associated with the user profile. In response to receiving the request, the at least one processor is operable to retrieve knowledge from the unified split data structure based on the request and display the retrieve knowledge at the computing device.
