Partial simulation model creation, simulation and post-processing for rotational machines
11574082 · 2023-02-07 · ·

Data is received that comprises a full model for a physical object having a rotating part and a stationary part. The physical object includes fields coupled between the rotating part and the stationary part. A mesh is then generated for a portion of the physical object that includes a rotating mesh and a stationary mesh. Thereafter, a partial simulation model is created based on the full model and the mesh. Coupling relationships are established for the fields between the rotating mesh and the stationary mesh in the partial simulation model. The fields are then solved based on the coupling relationship of the partial simulation model. Thereafter, fields of the full model can be recovered based on the solved fields. Related apparatus, systems, techniques and articles are also described.

USING ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE TO OPTIMIZE SEAM PLACEMENT ON 3D MODELS

A method, computer system, and a computer program product for determining locations for seams on a 3D model of an object is provided. The present invention may include training an artificial intelligence model using a set of training data. The present invention may include generating a first model for the object using a shrink wrap method. The present invention may include generating a second model for the object using a decimation method. The present invention may include comparing the object to objects in the set of training data to identify an object in the training data having a similar shape. The present invention may include identifying the object by determining if the object fits in between the first and second models. The present invention may lastly include projecting seams onto a model of the object using the trained artificial intelligence model.

Methods, controllers, and machine-readable storage media for automated commissioning of equipment

Tools and techniques are described to automate commissioning of physical spaces. Controllers have access to databases of the devices that are controlled by them, including wiring diagrams and protocols, such that the controller can automatically check that each wire responds correctly to stimulus from the controller. Controllers also have access to databases of the physical space such that they can check that sensors in the space record the correct information for device activity, and sensors can cross-check each other for consistency. Once a physical space is commissioned, incentives can be sought based on commissioning results.

Systems, methods, electronic devices and computer-readable media for charting dental information are described. The method includes generating or retrieving a dental data set including separately-modifiable parameters defining dental information relative to a base parametric model, the parameters providing information for generating signals for displaying a three-dimensional (3D) representation of at least a portion of a dentition represented by the dental data set; receiving an input via the 3D representation; and based on the received input, adjusting at least one of the parameters.

Model and technical documents

Document spaces are used for intermediate technical documents created for a model with a displayed 3D model view. A document space is a finite volume having a location in the global three-dimensional coordinate system of the model and a reference to a technical document. A displayed document space in the displayed model view illustrates where one or more model parts, or corresponding pieces of model parts, which are included in the technical document, locate.

Replacing imagery of garments in an existing apparel collection with laser-finished garments

A system allows a user to create new designs for apparel and preview these designs before manufacture. Software and lasers are used in finishing apparel to produce a desired wear pattern or other design. The system swaps garments in a digital asset to garments that are designed using the system. The wear pattern is created by a laser using a laser input file. Generating the preview image comprises combining first and second contributions to obtain a combined value for a pixel at the pixel location of the preview image.

Three-dimensional preview of laser-finished apparel

A system allows a user to create new designs for apparel and preview these designs before manufacture. Software and lasers are used in finishing apparel to produce a desired wear pattern or other design. The user's preview may be based upon a two-dimensional image of a wear pattern in a laser input file and, from a set of two-dimensional images of a base garment, create a three-dimensional view of the base garment with the wear pattern.
