An ink data modification or correction method, and an information processing device and a program for implementing the method are provided, which allow automatic correction of ink data including a spelling error in a handwritten character string. An ink data modification method according to the present disclosure includes determining a modification method of ink data by detecting a spelling error included in a handwritten character string represented by the ink data, and modifying the ink data by manipulating the ink data on the basis of the determined modification method. For example, the determined modification method may be to add a missing character, or to delete a superfluous character, or to correct a typo by replacing an erroneous character with a correct character.

Moreover, an adapted user interface provides user interface features than enable access to an intelligent user interface menu that provides a user with feedback mechanisms to better understand the types of autocorrections that were made to their electronic document as well as improve processing efficiency for reversing an autocorrection and/or making further autocorrection changes to an electronic document.

Multilingual Grammatical Error Correction
A method of training a text-generating model for grammatical error correction (GEC) includes obtaining a multilingual set of text samples where each text sample includes a monolingual textual representation of a respective sentence. The operations also include, for each text sample of the multilingual set of text samples, generating a corrupted synthetic version of the respective text sample where the corrupted synthetic version of the respective text sample includes a grammatical change to the monolingual textual representation of the respective sentence associated with the respective text sample. The operations further include training the text-generating model using a training set of sample pairs. Each sample pair in the training set of sample pairs includes one of the respective text samples of the multilingual set of text samples and the corresponding corrupted synthetic version of the one of the respective text samples of the multilingual set of text samples.
Forgotten Item Notification System
Aspects described herein use real time transaction data to notify customers when they have forgotten to purchase an item at a merchant location. A first computing device may receive one or more items that are added to an electronic list of items to purchase, whether at merchant location or multiple locations. A second computing device operated by a financial institution entity may receive transaction data representative of a purchase of at least one item at a merchant location. The transaction data may comprise item level data representative of a specific item to purchase. Based on the transaction data, the second computing device may determine whether the specific item on the electronic list was purchased at the merchant location. When determining that the item was not purchased at the merchant location, the second computing device may determine whether the merchant location sells the specific item and when determining that the merchant location sells the item, a notification may be sent to a user that the specific item was not purchased.

An embodiment thereof includes obtaining a target statement, and separating words in the target statement to obtain a word collection to be modified; determining whether a target storage portion comprises a predetermined word collection to be confirmed corresponding to a word to be modified in the word collection to be modified; in response to determine to include the predetermined word collection, based on the error probabilities and the usage probabilities of the words to be confirmed, determining modification probabilities of the words to be confirmed; according to a numerical sequence of the modification probabilities, selecting predetermined numbered words to be confirmed from the word collection to be confirmed as a word sub-collection to be confirmed; and based on the word sub-collection to be confirmed, generating the modified statement. The embodiment improves the accuracy to modify the statement.
