An active pen is provided that transmits, through coupling capacitance, a signal to a sensor electrode connected to a sensor controller. The active pen includes a pen tip electrode provided on a leading end in a pen axis direction of the active pen; a peripheral electrode provided behind in the pen axis direction as viewed from the pen tip electrode; and a signal processor that transmits a downlink signal from the pen tip electrode and that transmits a reverse-phase signal of the downlink signal from the peripheral electrode at the same time.

An information handling system stylus transmits a wireless signal at a writing tip to enhance touch detection of the writing tip by a touchscreen display and receives wireless signals from the touchscreen display at a receiving antenna. To enhance control of wireless energy distributed at the writing tip, the receiving antenna is selectively coupled to the writing tip, such as by transitioning from a float of the receiving antenna to an interface with the stylus power source at transmit by the writing tip. Charge at the receiving antenna helps to shape the energy distribution from the writing tip, such as to match the energy distribution of other styluses in use at the touchscreen display.

Direction input data and inertial sensor data are acquired from a controller including a direction input section and an inertial sensor. Movement of a player character is controlled on the basis of the direction input data. In addition, a control mode for a position of a cursor is switchable between a first control mode and a second control mode. When the control mode is the first control mode, a position further shifted, based on the inertial sensor data, from a position calculated based on a position and a direction of the player character is set as the position of the cursor. When the control mode is the second control mode, a position shifted, based on the inertial sensor data, within a predetermined range, in a virtual space, including a predetermined position in the virtual space, from the predetermined position is set as the position of the cursor.

A presentation remote can be used to obtain information about the presentation and provide it to the audience member.

A projection apparatus according to the present invention, includes at least one memory and at least one processor which function as: a control unit configured to control to project an image on a projection surface; a detection unit configured to detect an operation performed on the projection surface using a pointer; and a processing unit configured to perform generation and editing of a graphic in response to the operation, wherein the processing unit is able to edit a first graphic formed using a first pointer and a second graphic formed using a second pointer independently of each other.

A sensor controller can be used with both a first stylus that operates in a first communication mode and a second stylus that operates in a second communication mode. The sensor controller performs a dual mode discovery process in which a first discovery process and a second discovery process are alternately performed. During the first discovery process, the sensor controller transmits a search signal for detecting the first stylus. During the second discovery process, the sensor controller performs processing to detect a signal transmitted by the second stylus. When a response to the search signal that is transmitted by the first stylus is detected, an operating mode of the sensor controller is determined to be the first mode. When the signal transmitted by second stylus is detected, the operating mode of the sensor controller is determined to be the second mode.

There is provided an information processing device enabling reduction in cost and identification of input devices, the information processing device including: a light emission control unit that performs control such that a first light emission instruction is output to a first input device, if first identification information has been received from the first input device; and a processing unit that associates first light emission position information with the first identification information, if the first light emission position information has been acquired, the first light emission position information indicating a position where light has been emitted by a first light emission unit of the first input device.
