A device is described that comprises display circuitry configured to emphasise a content item from a plurality of content items; touch screen circuitry configured to receive a user input; and control circuitry configured to: detect the user input on the touch screen circuitry, such that the emphasis on the content item scrolls through the plurality of content items when the detected user input is an arc in a first direction.

Sidebar Interaction Method, Device, and Computer-readable Storage Medium
20210200431 · 2021-07-01 ·

Disclosed are a sidebar interaction method, a device and a computer readable storage medium. The method includes: receiving an instruction to initiate an interaction, generating an interaction module on a currently operating interface of a front-end application, outputting at least one notification message in the interaction module; initiating a back-end application, displaying a sidebar in a first target display area on the currently operating interface; and detecting a preset operation corresponding to the sidebar and responding to the preset operation. The sidebar interaction module is arranged, and notification message interception is carried out through the sidebar interaction module, so that the interference is reduced when different applications or different functions of the same application interact. The sidebar interaction is more reasonable. The sidebar for auxiliary application is displayed on the operating interface, improving the perception a user's perception to a third-party program corresponding to the auxiliary function.

Electronic device having a curved display and control method thereof

An electronic device and a method for controlling the same are provided. The electronic device includes a display including a main display area and an auxiliary display area extended from the main display area, a sensing part configured to detect a signal of an electronic pen located on the display, and a processor configured to control the electronic device according to the detected signal. The processor is further configured to, based on an area in which the signal is detected being a first area of the auxiliary display area, carry out a first function corresponding to the signal, and based on an area in which the signal is detected being a second area of the auxiliary display area, to carry out a second function corresponding to the signal.

Input tool

A computing device can include a processor; memory accessible by the processor; a display operatively coupled to the processor; and an input tool that mounts to a side of the display, where the input tool includes an axis and a wheel rotatable about the axis.

Devices, methods, and graphical user interfaces for an electronic device interacting with a stylus

In accordance with some embodiments, a method is performed at an electronic device. The method includes in response to detecting that the stylus is proximate to the electronic device, pairing the electronic device with the stylus. The method includes in response to pairing the stylus with the electronic device: displaying, on the display, a first representation of a first gesture performed on the stylus; obtaining finger manipulation data from the stylus via the communication interface, wherein the finger manipulation data indicates a finger manipulation input received by the stylus; and in response to obtaining the finger manipulation data, displaying, on the display, a second representation of a second gesture performed on the stylus corresponding to the finger manipulation input received by the stylus.

APPARATUS, SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR USING A UNIVERSAL CONTROLLING DEVICE FOR DISPLAYING A GRAPHICAL USER ELEMENT IN A DISPLAY DEVICE
20210104151 · 2021-04-08 · ·

An apparatus, system and method is described for controlling one or more consumer electronic devices that is performed by a smart device. The smart device causes one or more graphical elements, each for performing a particular operation to be displayed. The smart device then causes an action to be performed when the user selects one of the graphical elements, for example by pressing one of the keys on the universal controlling device or by speaking a command.

TRAINING A NEURAL NETWORK WITH REPRESENTATIONS OF USER INTERFACE DEVICES
20210133506 · 2021-05-06 ·

Disclosed herein are examples of a wearable display system capable of determining a user interface (UI) event with respect to a virtual UI device (e.g., a button) and a pointer (e.g., a finger or a stylus) using a neural network. The wearable display system can render a representation of the UI device onto an image of the pointer captured when the virtual UI device is shown to the user and the user uses the pointer to interact with the virtual UI device. The representation of the UI device can include concentric shapes (or shapes with similar or the same centers of gravity) of high contrast. The neural network can be trained using training images with representations of virtual UI devices and pointers.

Multipurpose stylus with exchangeable modules

An input device, such as a stylus, can include a main body comprising a main body connector for connecting to a charger to charge a power source of the stylus. A separate functional end module is removable from the main body to expose the main body connector. The functional end module includes a functional component and a module connector that communicates with the main body via the main body connector. Various different functional end modules can be interchangeable to provide a variety of distinct features to the stylus.
