Touchscreen data reception from user device via user
A computing device includes signal generation circuitry and also includes a location on the computing device that is operative to couple a signal generated by the signal generation circuitry into a user. For example, the computing device includes signal generation circuitry that generates a signal that includes information corresponding to a user and/or an application that is operative within the computing device. The signal generation circuitry couples the signal into the user from a location on the computing device based on a bodily portion of the user being in contact with or within sufficient proximity to the location on the computing device that facilitates coupling of the signal into the user. Also, the signal may be coupled via the user to another computing device that includes a touchscreen display that is operative to detect and receive the signal.
Zoom control of digital images on a display screen
A computer program product and apparatus suitable may perform operations including receiving a first digital image, and identifying a pixel resolution of a display, the pixel resolution of the display being less than a pixel resolution of the first digital image. The operations may further include providing first data to the display to cause display of the first digital image at an image resolution adapted to the identified pixel resolution, wherein a section of the first digital image displayed on the display includes a first area of the display. The operations may further include receiving a user-initiated instruction to zoom in on the section of the first digital image, and providing, in response to receiving the user-initiated instruction, second data to the display to cause display of the section of the first digital image over a second area of the display that is greater than the first area.
Systems and methods for managing content on dual screen display devices
Systems and methods are provided that may be implemented to manage display of content on a dual screen information handling system by recognizing dual-screen gestures and/or imparting touch awareness to at least a portion of a non-visual central region existing between the active visual areas of the two display screens of the dual screen system, e.g., between each visual area and a gap area and/or hinge area between the two display screens.
Information processing device and program
The information processing device includes: an operation detecting unit that determines that a first touch operation has been detected, calculates the length of a virtual line segment connecting the plurality of touched positions detected or the rotation angle with respect to a reference direction for the virtual line segment, and determines whether or not there has been a change in the length or rotation angle of a virtual line segment when coordinate information has been inputted, the touch panel displaying a second screen, and determines that a second touch operation has been detected when it has been determined that there has been a change in the length or rotation angle of the virtual line segment; and an execution instruction issuing unit that issues an instruction to execute the process associated with the change in the length of the virtual line segment or the rotation direction of the virtual line segment.
USER TERMINAL APPARATUS AND MANAGEMENT METHOD OF HOME NETWORK THEREOF
An example user terminal apparatus includes communication circuitry configured to be connected to a home network comprising a plurality of devices; a display configured to display a UI screen for managing the home network; a sensor configured to sense a user manipulation of the UI screen; and processing circuitry configured to change the UI screen displayed on the display according to the user manipulation. The UI screen is one of a plurality of service pages that are changeable according to a user manipulation in a first direction, the plurality of service pages being pages for respectively providing different home network management services. At least one of the plurality of service pages comprises an area that is displayable on the display according to a user manipulation in a second direction.
DISPLAY DATA GENERATION METHOD, COMPUTER-READABLE, NON-TRANSITORY MEDIUM AND COMPUTER
A display data generation method used in a computer including an output module, includes generating display data of page numbers for scrollably displaying page numbers of a plurality of pages each containing predetermined item information, to output the display data of page numbers from the output module, retrieving page information indicating a same number of pages as a number of page numbers displayed in a distance corresponding to a distance between two points in a display region in which the page numbers are displayed when the two points are specified by the user, wherein the number of page numbers are calculated based on the distance between the two points and the distance between adjacent page numbers displayed in the display region, and generating item display data for displaying item information contained in the pages indicated in the retrieved page information, to output the item display data from the output module.
Systems and Methods for Resizing Applications in a Multitasking View on an Electronic Device with a Touch-Sensitive Display
In an exemplary method performed at an electronic device with a touch-sensitive display. The method includes concurrently displaying a first application and a second application on the touch-sensitive display. The method also includes detecting a first contact at a border between the concurrently displayed first and second applications. Immediately following detecting the first contact: detecting a gesture from a location of the first contact towards an edge of the touch-sensitive display. Upon detecting the gesture: selecting a fixed display area from a plurality of predefined fixed display areas for the second application; automatically resizing the second application to the selected fixed display area; and automatically resizing the first application to occupy substantially all of a remaining area of the touch-sensitive display.
MANIPULATION OF A PERSISTENT DISPLAY OF SHARED CONTENT
The present disclosure provides a system that enables manipulation of a persistent display of shared content. Content can be shared with a host device from a guest device. A rendering of the content is configured to be manipulated by a user at the host device. For instance, a rendering of the content can be resized, scaled, rotated and moved within a graphical user interface. Annotations can also be added to the rendering of the content. The rendering of the content can also be persistently and automatically displayed in response to a device operating in a predetermined state. The predetermined state can include, for example, a lock screen mode, a bulletin board mode, or a mode when application user interfaces are minimized. The rendering may be removed from a display when the device exits the predetermined state or when the device receives a specific command to remove the rendering.
INTERACTIVE ENVIRONMENT WITH VIRTUAL ENVIRONMENT SPACE SCANNING
An interactive environment image may be displayed in a virtual environment space, and interaction with the interactive environment image may be detected within a three-dimensional space that corresponds to the virtual environment space. The interactive environment image may be a three-dimensional image, or it may be two-dimensional. An image is displayed to provide a visual representation of an interactive environment image including one or more virtual objects, which may be spatially positioned. User interaction with the visualized representation in the virtual environment space may be detected and, in response to user interaction, the interactive environment image may be changed.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR MANAGING MULTIPLE PRESSES ON A TOUCH-SENSITIVE SURFACE
A computer-implemented method and an associated device for managing multitouch presses on a touch surface are provided. The method includes at least steps of: during an interaction with a touch surface, computing at least parameters regarding the number, persistence and size of press points produced by conductive pads, the conductive pads being integrated into an interaction device worn by at least one user interacting with the touch surface, one of the faces of the conductive pads coming into interaction with the touch surface; identifying, from among a plurality of predefined interaction combinations, an interaction combination corresponding to the press points, based on the computed parameters, a predefined interaction combination being a configuration of multiple conductive pads that is associated with one or more actions; and carrying out the actions linked to the determined interaction combination.
