Introduced here are techniques for implementing a clip-board menu on a device. The clipboard menu can be superimposed on a display of the device while a user is operating the device. The clipboard menu can include options to share, edit, and save content. The user can actuate the clipboard menu by selecting content being displayed on the device. The user can then drag the selected content to one of the options within the clipboard menu. The share option allows the user to share the content with other contacts or applications. The edit option allows the user to edit and/or crop the content. For example, the user can change the appearance of the content or crop out certain portions of the content. The save option allows the users to save the content to short-term or long-term memory. The user can then access the content by summoning a clipboard interface.

Virtual objects may be virtually presented in an environment via a wearable extended reality appliance operable in a first and second display modes. In the first display mode, positions of the virtual objects are maintained in the environment regardless of detected movements of the wearable extended reality appliance, and in the second display mode, the virtual objects move in the environment in response to detected movements of the wearable extended reality appliance. Movement of the wearable extended reality appliance may be detected. A selection of the first or second display mode may be received. Display signals configured to present the virtual objects in a manner consistent with the selected display mode may be outputted for presentation via the wearable extended reality appliance in response to the selected display mode.

In some embodiments, a user may control image capture from an FDA by adjusting the position and orientation of a PMD. In other embodiments, a user may input a touch gesture via a touch display of a PMD that corresponds with a flight path to be autonomously flown by the FDA.

The remote control device includes a mounting structure and a control unit, and the control unit is configured to be attached to the mounting structure in a plurality of different orientations. The control unit is configured to determine an orientation of the control unit via the orientation sensing circuit. In some embodiments, a multifunction device with a display and a touch-sensitive surface creates a plurality of workspace views. A respective workspace view is configured to contain content assigned by a user to the respective workspace view. The content includes application windows. The device displays a first workspace view in the plurality of workspace views on the display without displaying other workspace views in the plurality of workspace views and detects a first multifinger gesture on the touch-sensitive surface. In response to detecting the first multifinger gesture on the touch-sensitive surface, the device replaces display of the first workspace view with concurrent display of the plurality of workspace views.
