DOUBLE IMAGE OVERPRINT CARPET COMPONENTS AND METHODS OF MAKING SAME
Various embodiments of the present invention are directed to carpet components and methods of making the carpet components. In one embodiment, a carpet component is provided. The carpet component includes a carpet substrate having a texture comprising a pattern, wherein the pattern comprises a plurality of adjoining design elements each defining a design and a boundary and wherein the design elements are arranged so that the design of one design element is not predictable from the design of an adjoining design element; and an overprint disposed onto the carpet substrate wherein the overprint comprises a plurality of adjoining design elements each defining a design and a boundary and wherein the design elements are arranged so that the design of at least one design element is predictable from the design of an adjoining design element.
METHOD OF EXERCISING THE HUMAN BODY PREFERABLY IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE USE OF AT LEAST ONE PIECE OF GYM OR SPORT EQUIMENT IN THE PERFORMANCE OF A PREDETERMINED TRAINING PROGRAM COMPRISING CARRYING OUT OF A SEQUENCE OF STEPS WITH EACH STEP INCLUDING A PLURALITY OF LEG MOVEMENTS ON A FLOOR MAT WHEREIN AT LEAST ONE LEG MOVEMENT IN EACH STEP CAUSES A ROTATIONAL BODY AND/OR HIP MOVEMENT IN UNISON WITH THE LEG MOVEMENT DURING THE TRAINING PROGRAM
The subject invention is directed to a method of exercising the human body comprising the steps of executing a training program on a floor mat consisting of a multiplicity of boxes arranged in horizontal rows and vertical columns to form a checker board pattern of boxes on the surface of the floor mat with only one box located in common at the intersection between each horizontal row and each vertical column with each of the multiple boxes being equal in size and adapted to accommodate the foot size of substantially any person exercising on the floor mat such that the location of each foot on the floor mat will correspond to substantially only one coordinate box position with little or no overlapping, with said method comprising the steps of: using a human individual or a recording machine to execute the training program by calling out a sequence of steps corresponding to at least the movement of one leg of the person exercising on the floor mat relative to the other leg which is held stationary so that the moving leg moves from one specified coordinate box position on the floor mat to another specified coordinate box position, with each leg movement selected from the group consisting of a forward leg movement, a backward leg movement, a lateral forward or lateral backward leg movement and a rotational leg movement, and with each step being called out in a predetermined consecutive sequence corresponding to, at least, the leg movements of the person exercising on the floor mat with at least one of the steps, or a consecutive combination of the steps, in said sequence requiring the moving leg to cause the body and/or pelvis of the person exercising on the floor mat to rotate, at least partially, relative to the non-moving leg and in unison with the rotation of the body such that the person exercising on the floor mat forms a pattern of movements corresponding to movements of the person in their everyday lifestyle integral to his or her occupation or to a pattern of movements corresponding to a given gym exercise or for simulating a given sport.
Border, edge or pattern carpet tile design, manufacture and installation
Design and manufacture of tufted articles, carpet tile webs and carpet tiles, and installation of carpet tiles, having different color, pile height, pile texture or other characteristics that, together with similar other such tiles, may be installed to create borders, edges or other multiple-tile designs, usually without any of the tiles looking out of place or improperly oriented relative to nap or the direction the tile is “facing.”
Modular floor mat
This invention relates to a modular floor mat comprising a plurality of interconnected thermoplastic trays with textile substrate inserts. The textile substrate inserts contain visual images, such as printed logos or advertisements. The modular floor mat is advantageous for use by businesses in entryways and other locations where advertising or messaging is desirable.
SCRIM-REINFORCED CUSHION MAT FOR CARPET TILES
A carpet tile includes a textile top member and a cushion mat that is coupled with the textile top member via a thermoplastic material. The textile top member includes carpet yarns and a backing that is coupled with the carpet yarns so that the backing structurally supports the carpet yarns. The cushion mat includes a polymeric material component having polymer fibers that are randomly oriented and entangled together and a scrim reinforcement that is disposed within the polymeric material component. The scrim reinforcement reinforces and stabilizes the polymeric material component and is entirely covered and concealed by the intermeshed polymer fibers.

Wireless charging mat with dynamic surface texture
A wireless charging mat has a surface area for receiving an electronic device to be charged. The surface area of the charging mat includes an inner region having a rough surface texture and an outer region having s smooth surface texture, and the outer region is elevated relative to the inner region.
Floor matting
Floor mats comprising two layers bonded together with an undulating boundary between them. The surface color and/or surface texture of the first layer being different from the surface color and/or surface texture of the second layer. The mats having an interlocking periphery boundary adapted so the mats can be interlocked with adjoining mats to form a continuous planar mat flooring.
FOAM MAT
A two layer foam mat is described. The raw materials for each layer are separately mixed and heated in different batches, and separately pressed through heated rollers to form a plurality of sheets. One or more sheets from each batch are stacked together in a press and heated above a foaming temperature to permit the stacked sheets to foam and expand. The press restricts the sheets from vertical expansion while allowing horizontal expansion. Once the sheets are foamed, a series of alternating teeth and receiving slots can be cut around the boundary of the mat to form an interlocking peripheral wall. The layers preferably have the same chemical composition after foaming, even though the layers are formed from different batches and may have different colors and/or textures.
POLYESTER CARPET TILE OR CARPET STRIP, AND PROCESS FOR MANUFACTURING A POLYESTER CARPET TILE OR CARPET STRIP
The invention relates to a carpet tile or carpet strip for the contract market, in particular office and commercial buildings, comprising a machine-woven carpet having warp and weft yarns, a needled felt, an intermediate layer between the needled felt and the machine-woven fabric, wherein a polyester synthetic latex coating is applied to the back face of the machine-woven fabric, wherein the synthetic latex coating penetrates into the fabric from the back face of the fabric to a depth of at least 30% of a perpendicular distance between the back face and the front face of the fabric. The invention also relates to a process for manufacturing a carpet tile or a carpet strip for the contract market, in particular office and commercial buildings.
