System and method for forwarding an application user interface
A system and method for forwarding an application user interface from a first computing platform to a second computing platform. The application user interface is generated using source content. The application user interface is encoded into two or more encoded content streams where the two or more encoded content streams contain source content representable as the application user interface and composition metadata associated with the application user interface. The two or more encoded content stream are sent to the second computing platform. The two or more encoded content streams are received where the two or more encoded content streams contain information reproducible as the application user interface. The two or more encoded content streams are decoded. The application user interface is generated using the two or more decoded content streams and composition metadata associated with the two or more decoded content streams.
Remoting application servers
Novel tools and techniques might provide for implementing remote application access, and, in some cases, by instantiating an application or service close to the intended recipient or user of the application or service, from a networking perspective. A network might provide connectivity between a first computer and a second computer. A file (comprising an application and data) might be transmitted, over the network, from the first computer. A node in the network, which might be on a path between the first and second computers, might determine that the file contains the application and the data, and, based on such determination, might capture the file (before the second computer can receive it). An instance of the application might be instantiated on a compute surface in the network as a service for the second computer, such that the compute surface can operate on the data with the instance of the application.
Remote invocation of mobile device actions
Systems, methods and apparatus for invoking actions at a second user device from a first user device. A method includes determining that a first user device has an associated second user device; accessing specification data that specifies a set of user device actions that the second user device is configured to perform; receiving command inputs for the first user device; for each command input, determining whether the command input resolves to one of the user device actions; for each command input not determined to resolve any of the user device actions, causing the command input to be processed at the first user device; and for each command input determined to resolve one of the user device actions causing the first user device to display in a user interface a dialog by which a user may either accept or deny invoking the user device action at the second user device.
ESTABLISHING DATA OBJECTS TO FACILITATE CALLS TO EXTERNAL FUNCTIONS
A query referencing a function associated with a remote software component is received by a network-based data warehouse system. Temporary security credentials corresponding to a role at a cloud computing service platform are obtained. The role has permission to send calls to a web endpoint corresponding to the remote software component. A request comprising input data and electronically signed using the temporary security credentials is sent to a web Application Programming Interface (API) management system of the cloud computing service platform. The request, when received by the web API management system, causes the web API management system to invoke external functionality provided by the remote software component at the web endpoint with respect to the input data. A response comprising a result of invoking the external functionality is received from the web API management system, and the result data is processed according to the query.
Establishing data objects to facilitate calls to external functions
A query referencing a function associated with a remote software component is received by a network-based data warehouse system. Temporary security credentials corresponding to a role at a cloud computing service platform are obtained. A response comprising a result of invoking the external functionality is received from the web API management system, and the result data is processed according to the query.
MULTI-REGION REQUEST-DRIVEN CODE EXECUTION SYSTEM
An on-demand code execution environment present in points of presence (POPs) and in regions serviced by the POPs is provided herein. For example, a POP may receive a request to execute a task associated with user-defined code. If the POP determines that the computing resources necessary to execute a received task are not available or that the POP should not execute the received task for another reason (e.g., the task is not commonly received and the computing resources needed to execute the task are therefore best allocated for other requests), the POP can forward the task to a region that the POP services for execution by an on-demand code execution environment present in the region. The on-demand code execution environment present in the region can execute the task and forward the results of the execution to the POP for distribution back to a user device that requested the task execution.
TECHNIQUES FOR PROVIDING THERAPEUTIC TREATMENT INFORMATION FOR PHARMACOLOGICAL ADMINISTRATION
Examples described herein generally relate to recommending therapeutic treatment information for a patient, and more particularly to recommendations regarding drugs or drug combinations. A computer system may access a plurality of data records associated with the patient. The system may correlate and consolidate the plurality of records based on an accuracy rating of each data source. The system may provide access, via a first application programming interface (API) to a first plurality of shared machine learning algorithms to perform a respective analysis of the plurality of data records. The system may receive, via a second API, a proprietary set of executable code to perform an analysis of the plurality of data records. The system may execute the first plurality of shared machine learning algorithms and the set of executable code on the plurality of data records for the patient to generate therapeutic treatment information for the patient.
SYSTEM AND METHOD CAPABLE OF REMOTELY CONTROLLING ELECTRONIC APPARATUS TO EXECUTE PROGRAM
The invention provides a system capable of remotely controlling electronic apparatus to execute program. The system comprises a cloud management platform and at least one electronic apparatus. The electronic apparatus comprises a data storage device and a program execution management device. The data storage device comprises a plurality of flash memories and a controller. The program execution management device comprises a microprocessor having a network communication function. When the cloud management platform wants the electronic device to execute a specific operation or collect a specific information, it will send a specific operation instruction to the program execution management device. The microprocessor of the program execution management device wants that the controller of the data storage device executes a corresponding operation program according to the specific operation instruction to generate an execution message related to the specific operation, and then transmits the execution message to the cloud management platform.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR THE REMOTE EXECUTION OF ONE OR MORE ARBITRARILY DEFINED WORKFLOWS
A system for the remote execution of one or more arbitrarily defined workflows comprises a workflow engine operative to perform one or more functions defined in a given workflow on customer computing infrastructure and a workflow administrator with access to a workflow database that maintains metadata defining the state of the given workflow, the workflow administrator remote from the workflow engine and not running on the customer computing infrastructure. A workflow administrator agent polls the workflow administrator to identify when the given workflow is scheduled for execution and, when scheduled, issues a command to the workflow engine to retrieve the given workflow from a workflow registry and perform the one or more functions defined in the given workflow on the customer computing infrastructure. The workflow administrator agent transmits state information regarding execution of the given workflow to the workflow administrator for storage in the workflow database.
