Flexible mailbox support
A flexible mailbox support on which a mailbox is mounted includes a top end portion, a bottom end portion, and a joint configured to enable the top end portion to pivot relative to the bottom end portion when impacted by a force, such that respective longitudinal axes of top and bottom end portions of the support are angularly offset relative to one another. The joint includes a top joint housing, a bottom joint housing, a joint spring connected between the top joint housing and the bottom joint housing, and a safety cable connecting the top joint housing and the bottom joint housing.
NO-DIG MAILBOX
A mailbox assembly that may be provided on a surface and freely movable by an end user from one location to another without digging a hole for the post. The mailbox assembly includes a post, a mail receptacle on an upper poste end, and a base on a lower base end. The base includes one or more hollow cavities for retaining ballast material to thereby move a center of gravity of the mailbox assembly towards the bottom surface, such that the mailbox can withstand 100 N of force applied perpendicular to the post without toppling. The post may also have one or more cavities for holding ballast material.
Method and apparatus for building mailbox assemblies
A mailbox assembly includes a replacement mailbox having an outer surface, a rib extending along the outer surface of the replacement mailbox, a notification device secured to a front end of the replacement mailbox. A method to replace a damaged mailbox includes providing a replacement mailbox having a geometric shape smaller than a geometric shape of the damaged mailbox, sliding the replacement mailbox within the damaged mailbox, and securing the replacement mailbox at a spaced distance within the damaged mailbox with a rib secured to an outer surface of the replacement mailbox.
Automated mailbox
Methods, systems, and apparatus for an automated mailbox system. The automated mailbox system includes a personal device configured to manage a robot. The robot includes a base that forms a foundation for the robot and is coupled to a post. The robot includes a mailbox having a door. The mailbox is configured to receive documents when in the open position. The robot includes a transportation component that moves the robot in multiple directions among multiple locations. The transportation component is configured to move the robot in a first direction to a first location.
Mailbox shielding assembly
A mailbox shielding assembly for deflecting snow propelled by a plow away from a mailbox includes a base and a shell. The base is configured to couple to a surface, such as soil. The shell has a lower end, an upper end, a left side, a right side, a front and a back. The front is open to define a cavity. A plurality of connectors is coupled to and extends substantially perpendicularly between the base and the shell. A coupler is coupled to the shell and is positioned in the cavity. The coupler is configured to couple to a mailbox to position the mailbox within the cavity. The shell is configured to deflect matter, such as snow propelled by a plow, to shield the mailbox that is positioned in the cavity.
Mailbox, mailbox protection apparatus, and method
An apparatus for use on a mailbox having a substantially vertical side, includes a first panel; a second panel; a hinge joining the first panel and the second panel; an angle limiter; and a mounting device for securing the apparatus to the mailbox. A mailbox is improved by mounting on the box an apparatus having a panel to provide a surface oriented to tangentially receive the impact of substantially horizontally-directed debris directed toward the mailbox.
Post shield
A post shield to protect a mailbox and a post from damage caused by snowplows, snow, sleet, ice, or combinations thereof. The post shield has a base support, at least one post shield board, and an upper frame support that are interconnected to the post to create a post shield. The base support has (1) a front plate, (2) a rear plate capable of being positioned a post shield distance from the front plate to form a shield aperture, wherein the post shield distance permits the post shield board to be (a) removably received between the front plate and the rear plate and (b) essentially vertically leveled when positioned in the base support, and (3) a frame base capable of receiving a portion of the corresponding post. The post shield board and the post each have at least one upper frame slot that receive the upper frame support.
MAILBOX, AND MOUNTING ASSEMBLY AND MOUNTING METHOD THEREFOR
A mounting assembly is for a mailbox. The mailbox has an enclosure member. The mounting assembly includes a sleeve member, a first support member coupled to the sleeve member and the enclosure member, a second support member coupled to the sleeve member, and a pad member coupled to the second support member. The mounting assembly has an axis extending through an opening in each of the sleeve member, the first support member, the second support member, and the pad member.
Electronic Mailbox
The present invention consists of an electronic mailbox specially adapted for receiving parcels transported or delivered by an aerial vehicle. Said mailbox includes a rigid structure as well as an internal cavity wherein the parcel can be housed, which is accessible through a first door. For the appropriate delivery of said parcel from the aerial vehicle to the internal cavity, the mailbox includes a visual recognition and identification code, which enables the vehicle to identify it, as well as electronic opening and closing means of the first door.
The operation of the electronic mailbox is determined by an electronic control processor, comprised in said mailbox, connected to a communication module including a wireless signal receiver, and a geolocation device configured to detect the location of the mailbox.
