A soil manipulating device for digging and raking soil includes a base plate, which defines a first plane and which has a first edge that is attached to a first end of a shaft. A set of tines is attached to and extends from a second edge of the base plate. Each tine defines an associated second plane and has opposed edges, which are serrated. At least one of the tines has an associated second plane which intersects the first plane. The shaft can be grasped in one or both hands of a user, positioning the user to insert the tines into soil to manipulate the soil by using the tines to cut into the soil. Various embodiments of soil manipulators can be used to perform a variety of digging and raking tasks while in a substantially upright posture and in a lowered posture, such as while sitting or knelling.

A cleaning implement is described, which can have an elongate handle with a proximal end, a distal end, and an interior surface. The interior surface of the elongate handle can define an interior cavity of the elongate handle. An elastic element can be secured within the interior cavity of the handle at the proximal end. A motion rod can also be concentrically secured within the interior cavity of the handle, adjacent to the elastic element. The motion rod can have an exposed end protruding out of the elongate handle at the distal end, and the exposed end can have a tip with a tool attachment feature.

A broom and rake combination tool for sweeping and raking includes first and second plates and first and second rods. The first rod is hollow and is coupled to and extends from a top of the first plate. A recess is positioned in a bottom of the first plate. A channel is positioned in the first plate and extends from the top to the recess. The second plate is complementary to the recess. The second rod is coupled to and extends from the second plate through the channel into the first rod. The second rod is slidably positionable relative to the first rod. A plurality of bristles is coupled to the first and second plates and is opposingly positioned to the first rod. A plurality of teeth is coupled to a side of the first plate. The bristles and the teeth are configured, respectively, to sweep and rake a surface.

A broom and rake combination tool for sweeping and raking includes first and second plates and first and second rods. The first rod is hollow and is coupled to and extends from a top of the first plate. A recess is positioned in a bottom of the first plate. A channel is positioned in the first plate and extends from the top to the recess. The second plate is complementary to the recess. The second rod is coupled to and extends from the second plate through the channel into the first rod. The second rod is slidably positionable relative to the first rod. A plurality of bristles is coupled to the first and second plates and is opposingly positioned to the first rod. A plurality of teeth is coupled to a side of the first plate. The bristles and the teeth are configured, respectively, to sweep and rake a surface.

The gardening kit is a collection of tools configured for use in the weeding of agricultural plots such as gardens. Device for collecting garden debris from the ground. The device includes a pair of bodies and a pair of handles. Each body defines opposed ends and a collection structure extending at least partially between the ends. The bodies are configured to be pivotally securable to each other about an axis arranged adjacent one of the ends of each body such that the collection structures are opposed and extend substantially radially away from the axis. Each handle is configured to be connected to one of the bodies at a position spaced radially from the axis. Operating the handles causes the bodies to pivot between an open position, to allow dragging the bodies along the ground to gather garden debris between the collection structures, and a closed to allow trapping the gathered garden debris between the bodies.
