A system for opening and closing a door within a cabinet is provided. The system includes a motor in communication with a controller to automatically open and close a door. A first plate fixed to the motor shaft to rotate with rotation of the motor shaft, the plate comprises a slot disposed therein. A first leg extends from a door that extends through the slot. A second leg extends from the door. A first sensor moves based upon rotation of the motor shaft, wherein the first sensor can detect relative motion between the motor shaft and the door, wherein when the motor shaft is rotated in the second direction and the first sensor detects relative motion between the motor shaft and the door, the first sensor sends a signal to the controller, wherein upon receipt of the signal the first sensor discontinues sending the second signal to the motor.

The one or more processing circuits are configured to to acquire access information, determine whether the access information is associated with a respective order within a respective cubby of the plurality of cubbies, and activate the light of the respective cubby in response to the access information being associated with the respective order such that light emitted by the light shines through the portion of the door that is transparent of the respective cubby to indicate in which one of the plurality of cubbies the respective order is located.

A delivery shelf system includes a shelf extending from an exterior to an interior of a building, and a returnable box (RB) stored and slidably supported in the shelf. A first recessed part (FRP) is provided in an indoor-side end part of RB and a second recessed part (SRP) is provided in an outdoor-side end part thereof; a locking mechanism including a projecting part configured to be pressed and inserted into FRP or into SRP is provided at the indoor-side end part of the shelf; the projecting part is inserted into FRP while RB is stored in the shelf, so that RB is locked to the shelf; and when the projecting part is retracted from FRP by releasing the locking and RB is pulled out from the shelf into inside the building, the projecting part is inserted into SRP and the pulled-out RB is thereby stopped.

The server obtains information on a size of a parcel to be deposited. The server extracts delivery lockers having sizes suitable for the parcel from available delivery lockers among the multiple delivery lockers. The server allocates one of the extracted delivery lockers to the parcel. The server notifies a depositor of the parcel of information identifying the delivery locker allocated to the parcel.
