Storage box locking system
A locking system that controls access to a parcel storage box having a lockable door or lid with an electrically controllable locking mechanism. The locking system includes an optical scanner for scanning a barcode on a parcel that includes tracking information. A communication module transmits the tracking information to a separate computing system over a wireless network and then receives a response from the computing system indicating whether or not the transmitted barcode information is associated with an expected delivery. Electrical circuitry opens the locking mechanism if the tracking information is associated with an expected delivery.
Receiving module
A receiving module is disclosed herein. The receiving module can include a body and a door having a front shield and a rear shield coupled to the front shield at an angle. The body of the receiving module can include installation tabs that can include installation plates. The installation plates can be bent and placed against an installation surface to facilitate installation of the receiving module. The receiving module can be coupled to a container that includes a heating compartment and a cooling compartment to store delivered goods or packages in desirable temperature conditions. The receiving module can be modular and attached to different locations.
DEPOSITING DEVICE FOR CARGO CARRIED BY AN AERIAL VEHICLE
Disclosed herein a depositing device for a cargo carried out by an unmanned aerial vehicle. The depositing device can comprise a receptacle enclosed from above by one or more swinging ledges forming a cargo-dropping area on the outer surface thereof, wherein the receptacle is coupled to a hanging device adapted for hanging said depositing device to a balcony railing. The depositing device also comprises a transmitter designed to transmit information usable by the unmanned aerial vehicle to determine a spatial position of the cargo-dropping area. The one or more swinging ledges are designed to tilt inwardly into the receptacle in case a force exerted by a weight of the cargo imposed on the cargo-dropping area exceeds a threshold weight, for inserting said cargo into the receptacle.
Smart mailbox, smart mailbox system and related method
A mailbox comprises a box body with a door having a lock, a mailbox unlocking code input device for inputting an unlocking code to unlock the mailbox, a communication module for communicating with a remote management terminal, a storage at the mailbox or the remote management terminal for storing one or more preset mailbox unlocking codes, and a processor at the mailbox or the remote management terminal for identifying whether the input mailbox unlocking code matches the one or more preset mailbox unlocking codes, and issuing a mailbox unlocking instruction if matching. The processor comprises a mailbox unlocking code management circuit used to invalidate the matched mailbox unlocking code after the mailbox is unlocked, generate a new mailbox unlocking code when no valid mailbox unlocking code is currently available, and store the new mailbox unlocking code in the storage. The mailbox can safely, conveniently and automatically receive and/or send mail.
Receiving Appliance for Automated Deliveries
A landing pad receives and stores packages delivered from an aerial vehicle and awaiting pickup from an aerial vehicle. The landing pad can be placed outside of a window and can contain a transmitter for sending out an identification signal via radio frequency to aid aerial vehicles in finding the landing pad. The landing pad contains a landing platform with a trapdoor that leads to a storage compartment. The trapdoor can be configured to only open when it receives a signal from an authorized aerial vehicle. The storage compartment can be accessed via a storage compartment door which can contain a locking mechanism. The storage compartment can be climate controlled. The landing pad can also have a transmitter that emits sounds to discourage animals from nesting on or near the landing pad. The landing pad can also include a solar power generator as a source of electrical energy.
Commodity deposit device
A commodity deposit device includes delivery box sets, and a control panel configured to control the plurality of delivery box sets, wherein each of the plurality of delivery box sets includes a plurality of delivery boxes stacked, the control panel includes a controller configured to control opening and closing of the plurality of delivery boxes, and a display configured to output storage status information of the plurality of delivery boxes, and each of the plurality of delivery boxes includes a cabinet with a storeroom defined therein, a door rotatably connected to the cabinet and configured to open and close the storeroom, a commodity information recognizer installed at one side of an inside of the storeroom and configured to recognize an encryption code indicated on a commodity received into the storeroom, and a door lock configured to lock or unlock the door in response to a command transmitted from the controller.
MOUNTABLE BRACKET WITH MULTIPLE MOUNTING RAILS
A mountable bracket includes a first leg and a second leg configured to be coupled to a mounting surface, a first sub-leg coupled to the first leg, and a second sub-leg coupled to the second leg. The first leg projects from the mounting surface to define a first engagement surface. The first sub-leg projects from the first leg to define a second engagement surface. The second leg projects from the mounting surface to define a third engagement surface. The second sub-leg projects from the second leg to define a fourth engagement surface. The second engagement surface and the first engagement surface form a first mounting rail having a first rail width. The fourth engagement surface and the third engagement surface form a second mounting rail having the first rail width. The first engagement surface and the third engagement surface form a third mounting rail having a second rail width.
Lotte Lockbox and Parcel Management System
A lockbox and parcel management system is implemented in which a lockbox having multiple compartments is controllable via an access device that locks and unlocks respective compartments upon receiving a proper access code input. A user may place an order with an e-commerce service using an e-commerce application or website. The e-commerce service, upon receiving the order, may transmit order information to a lockbox remote service which can communicate with a user device associated with the user who placed the order, the access device for the lockbox, and a deliverer's device from the delivery company. The lockbox remote service or authorized user/owner may set access codes for the deliverer to open and place a parcel in a lockbox's compartment for safe and secure storage until the user arrives home.
Article storage and retrieval apparatus
The present disclosure relates to an article storage and retrieval apparatus, including a frame body, configured to be fixed on a vertical mounting surface; a cover body, the cover body hinged with the frame body at upper end, left end or right end to realize rotary opening and closing; and a container, an open end of the container being arranged on an inner side of the cover body and the container being located in a space formed between the frame body and the cover body, wherein the container has a variable volume and is configured to be unfolded to form a space for accommodating articles after the cover body is opened relative to the frame body and allow the cover body to be closed relative to the frame body after being folded.
System for parcel pickup and delivery operated responsive to data bearing records
A system for parcel transport and tracking that operates responsive to data bearing records includes a plurality of geographically spaced repositories. The exemplary repositories include a plurality of enclosed compartment spaces. Access to each of the enclosed compartment spaces is controlled by a respective door which is in operative connection with the respective lock. Central control circuitry in operative connection with the repositories is operative to control access to the compartment spaces and to cause compartments to be selectively accessible so that selected parcels may be placed therein or removed therefrom. Exemplary arrangements provide for the pickup of parcels at initial pickup addresses at which shipments originate and deliveries to final delivery addresses of parcel recipients.
