METHOD FOR PROCESSING A MEASUREMENT SIGNAL
A method is proposed for processing a measurement signal, in particular for a steering system. The method comprises the following steps: A measured variable is acquired based on the measurement signal, wherein the measured variable comprises items of information about a physical variable, and wherein the measured variable is a superposition of the actual value of the physical variable and the measurement noise. Filter parameters of a filter are ascertained based on the measured variable and a mathematical model of the measurement noise. The measurement signal is filtered by means of the filter, whereby an estimated value of the physical variable is obtained, wherein the filter has the ascertained filter parameters. The filter parameters are ascertained in such a way that a deviation between the estimated value of the physical variable and the actual value of the physical variable is approximated and minimized. Furthermore, a control unit for a steering system, a steering system, a computer program, and a computer-readable data carrier are disclosed.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR MOTOR IMAGERY CLASSIFICATION USING EEG
The present disclosure relates to an apparatus and method for motor imagery classification using electroencephalography (EEG), and more particularly, to an apparatus and method for motor imagery classification that extracts features in different domains included in EEG signals generated during motor imagery in real time and classifies a user's intentions using the features.

In one aspect, a method comprises: obtaining a plurality of de-blending training examples, wherein each de-blending training example defines: (i) one or more blended seismic traces, and (ii) for each blended seismic trace, a corresponding plurality of target unblended seismic traces; using the de-blending training examples to train a de-blending model having a plurality of de-blending model parameters, comprising, for each de-blending training example: processing the one or more blended seismic traces of the training example using the de-blending model to generate an output which defines, for each of the one or more blended seismic traces of the training example, a corresponding plurality of estimated unblended seismic traces; and adjusting values of the plurality of de-blending model parameters.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM STORING PROGRAM
An information processing apparatus includes: a corresponding data calculation unit configured to determine importance of each sample in accordance with a difference between a plurality of pieces of observation information observed when an input is given to an observation target and data of a second type generated by a simulator that simulates the observation target based on a sample of a parameter with respect to a plurality of samples and data of a first type indicating the input, and a degree of influence of the sample on distribution of parameters, and then calculate data that corresponds to the distribution of the parameters; a new parameter sample generation unit configured to generate a new sample of the parameters in accordance with predetermined processing using the data that corresponds to the distribution of the parameters; and an iteration control unit configured to perform control so as to repeat the above processing.
IDENTITY VERIFICATION METHOD AND APPARATUS, STORAGE MEDIUM, AND COMPUTER DEVICE
This application relates to an identity verification method performed at a computer device and a computer-readable storage medium. The method includes: obtaining a biometric feature image from a video acquisition device via an encrypted connection; extracting biometric feature information from the biometric feature image in a local safe area within a running environment of the computer device; encrypting the biometric feature information in the local safe area, to obtain encrypted feature information, and transmitting the encrypted feature information to an application run in a local normal area within the running environment of the computer device; transmitting the encrypted feature information to a verification server through the application via a network connection; and receiving, through the application and via the network connection, an identity verification result returned by the verification server, the identity verification result being obtained after the encrypted feature information is decrypted and verified by the verification server.

In-ear nonverbal audio events classification system and method
A system and method for training a classification module of nonverbal audio events and a classification module for use in a variety of nonverbal audio event monitoring, detection and command systems. The method comprises capturing an in-ear audio signal from an occluded ear and defining at least one nonverbal audio event associated to the captured in-ear audio signal. Then sampling and extracting features from the in-ear audio signal. Once the extracted features are validated, associating the extracted features to the at least one nonverbal audio event and updating the classification module with the association. The nonverbal audio event comprises one or a combination of user-induced or externally-induced nonverbal audio events such as teeth clicking, tongue clicking, blinking, eye closing, teeth grinding, throat clearing, saliva noise, swallowing, coughing, talking, yawning with inspiration, yawning with expiration, respiration, heartbeat and head or body movement, wind, earpiece insertion or removal, degrading parts, etc.
