Method for localizing assembly errors
A method localizes assembly errors during the arrangement and/or the assembly of in particular vibration-isolated structural elements, in particular of components of optical arrangements, preferably of microlithographic projection exposure apparatuses.
Walking motion assist device
A device for assisting a wearer in rotationally moving an ankle joint. A drive mechanism coaxially rotates with the ankle joint using a drive motor; a control device controls the drive motor. A storage stores a basic movement pattern and a corrected movement pattern that represent time-series changes in ankle joint angle in a gait cycled. A calculator obtains the corrected movement pattern by correcting the basic movement pattern based on input operation. The basic movement pattern is represented by a polygonal line or a Bézier curve, each of which includes a plurality of predetermined points serving as inflection points, or a combination of thereof. The calculator generates the corrected movement pattern corrected by adjusting positions of the plurality of predetermined points on the basic movement pattern, and, based on the corrected movement pattern, the control device controls driving provided by the drive motor.

The fitness motion recognition method includes: collecting motion data and heart rate data of a human body during motion using a nine-axis inertial sensor and a heart rate sensor, respectively; calculating a resultant acceleration, a resultant angular velocity, and a roll angle of the nine-axis inertial sensor, as well as a real-time heart rate value using a motion recognition algorithm based on the motion data and heart rate data; and recognizing the fitness motion based on characteristics of the resultant acceleration, the resultant angular velocity and the roll angle of the nine-axis inertial sensor, and the real-time heart rate value.
MODEL RESELECTION FOR ACCOMMODATING UNSATISFACTORY TRAINING DATA
An anomaly analysis system generates models capable of more accurately identifying anomalies in data that contains unsatisfactory training data. The anomaly analysis system determines when data contains unsatisfactory training data. When an anomaly is detected in data using an initially selected model, and the data contains unsatisfactory training data, model reselection is performed. The reselected model analyzes the data. The reselected model is used to identify any anomalies in the data based on a data point from the data being outside of a confidence interval related to a predicted point by the reselected model corresponding to the data point.
Pain estimating device, pain estimating method, and pain classification
Provided is a pain estimating device with which it is possible to estimate objectively and accurately pain being experienced by a subject. A pain estimating device 110 estimates the magnitude of pain being experienced by a subject, on the basis of brainwaves of the subject, and is provided with: a measurement unit 111 which acquires a plurality of items of brainwave data or analysis data thereof by measuring brainwaves from the subject a plurality of times; and an estimation unit 112 which estimates the relative magnitude of the pain being experienced when the brainwave measurements were conducted a plurality of times, from the plurality of items of brainwave data or the analysis data thereof (for example the amplitude), on the basis of the linearity of a relationship between the brainwave data or the analysis data thereof (for example the amplitude) and the pain. The present invention also provides a pain estimating method and device with which it is possible to estimate objectively and accurately pain being experienced by a subject, and to classify simply the quality and quantity thereof. The present invention also provides a method for generating a pain classification value for classifying pain being experienced by the subject, on the basis of brainwaves of the subject.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR GENERATING SYNTHETIC TIME DOMAIN SIGNALS TO BUILD A CLASSIFIER
State of the art systems and methods attempting to generate synthetic biosignals such as PPG generate patient specific PPG signatures and do not correlate with pathophysiological changes. Embodiments herein provide a method and system for generating synthetic time domain signals to build a classifier. The synthetic signals are generated using statistical explosion. Initially, a parent dataset of actual sample data of class and non-class subjects is identified, and statistical features are extracted. Kernel density estimate (KDE) is used to vary the feature distribution and create multiple data template from a single parent signal. PPG signal is again reconstructed from the distribution pattern using non-parametric techniques. The generated synthetic data set is used to build the two stage cascaded classifier to classify CAD and Non CAD, wherein the classifier design enables reducing bias towards any class.
Document classification using signal processing
Aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for document classification through signal processing. Embodiments include receiving a document for classification. Embodiments include generating an image of the document. Embodiments include producing a signal representation of the document based on numbers of non-white pixels in each horizontal scan line or vertical scan line of the image of the document. Embodiments include comparing the signal representation of the document to signal representations of previously-classified documents. Embodiments include determining, based on the comparing, a classification for the document. Embodiments include performing additional processing with respect to the document based on the classification for the document.
Image matching device
An image matching device includes a weight determination unit and a matching unit. Based on a synthesized frequency characteristic obtained by synthesizing a frequency characteristic of a first image with a frequency characteristic of a second image and an ideal synthesized frequency characteristic that is an ideal one obtained by synthesizing the frequency characteristic of the first image with the frequency characteristic of the second image, the weight determination unit determines a weight relating to frequency in performing matching of the first image and a third image. The matching unit performs matching of the first image and the third image based on the determined weight.
Computer-implemented processing for non-destructive evaluation of wooden specimen
Non-limiting examples of the present disclosure describe a non-destructive evaluation (NDE) application/service that is configured for NDE of a wooden specimen. The NDE application/service provides a user-friendly graphical user interface that enables inspectors to manage each phase of NDE of a wooden specimen through one or more computing devices. An exemplary NDE application/service is configured to analyze captured acoustic signal data (e.g., ultrasonic signal data) and transform that captured signal data into feature information that is used to more accurately assess the structural integrity of a wooden specimen. For instance, execution of a programmed NDE application/service employs a trained artificial intelligence (AI) classifier that evaluates waveform propagation (e.g., TOF and energy attenuation) through a wooden specimen to classify a condition and a quality the wooden specimen. An NDE report may be generated that provides an inspector with an assessment of the wooden specimen and/or a network of wooden specimen.
