Robot pickup method
A computer-implemented robot pickup method including receiving a request from a user to pick up an article at a first location. A robot having a closeable transport container is navigated to the first location. The robot opens the closeable transport container and moves the article inside the closeable transport container at the first location, and navigates over an outdoor transportation network from the first location to the second location to deliver the article to the second location.
Depositing device for cargo carried by an aerial vehicle
Disclosed herein a depositing device for a cargo carried out by an unmanned aerial vehicle. The depositing device can comprise a receptacle enclosed from above by one or more swinging ledges forming a cargo-dropping area on the outer surface thereof, wherein the receptacle is coupled to a hanging device adapted for hanging said depositing device to a balcony railing. The depositing device also comprises a transmitter designed to transmit information usable by the unmanned aerial vehicle to determine a spatial position of the cargo-dropping area. The one or more swinging ledges are designed to tilt inwardly into the receptacle in case a force exerted by a weight of the cargo imposed on the cargo-dropping area exceeds a threshold weight, for inserting said cargo into the receptacle.
Storage box locking system
A locking system that controls access to a parcel storage box having a lockable door or lid with an electrically controllable locking mechanism. The locking system includes an optical scanner for scanning a barcode on a parcel that includes tracking information. A communication module transmits the tracking information to a separate computing system over a wireless network and then receives a response from the computing system indicating whether or not the transmitted barcode information is associated with an expected delivery. Electrical circuitry opens the locking mechanism if the tracking information is associated with an expected delivery.
Integrated Package and Mail Delivery Security System
A system for securely depositing an item includes: a deposit box with a door configured to provide selective access to an interior space in the deposit box; a lock mechanism configured to attach to the deposit box to selectively block the door from opening; a first proximity sensor operatively connected to the lock mechanism to operate the lock mechanism to block the door or allow the door to open; a second proximity sensor configured to be attached to at least one of: a delivery person and a piece of delivery equipment; a third proximity sensor; and a first transmitter operatively connected to the lock mechanism and configured to transmit a signal indicative of operating information regarding the lock mechanism.
Method and system for securing packages near a door
The disclosed embodiments include an anti-theft system. The anti-theft system includes a netting, a male connector linkage, and a network of female connectors. The netting includes a set of safety loops along the periphery of the netting. The male connector linkage includes at least two male connectors connected by a linkage. The male connector linkage is woven through the safety loops then connected to individual female connectors within the network of female connectors. The network of female connectors is embedded within an opening on a door. The anti-theft system is operable to cling or secure a package to a door in order to prevent the theft of said package.
CONTACTLESS DELIVERY LOCKER SYSTEM
A contactless delivery locker may have a locker housing with a locker door fitted to the locker housing. A disinfecting system may be arranged to disinfect the locker content and a remotely actuable lock may be arranged to secure the locker door in a closed position and actuable to release the locker door. A controller associated with the lock may be configured to actuate the lock and a wireless interface may be connected to the controller and configured to receive a command to actuate the lock to release the locker door. The controller may operate to control actuation of the lock to release the locker door upon detection of a command to actuate the lock and release the locker door. The controller may be configured to report lock status information to a user to confirm if a locker has been opened after completion of a disinfecting cycle.
MEDICATION RECEIVER
Medication-receivers for safely and securely receiving the temporarily delivery of medications are discussed. Such medication-receivers may be removably attached to exterior doors of structures such as, but not limited to, residences and/or businesses, without damage to such exterior doors, and in a manner that minimizes and/or deters theft of contents of the given medication-receiver. Such medication-receivers may have a cabinet and a downward sliding drawer for receiving the medication. The drawer may be locked to the cabinet. Such medication-receivers may be outfitted with various electronics that may facilitate safe and secure delivery of medication, including locking and unlocking of the drawer, delivery verification, recipient pickup verification, secure access controls, tamper monitoring, and the like.
PACKAGE RECEIVING LOCKER
A collapsible-locker, that is lockable, for receiving packages, may have at least one sterilizer for sterilizing at least some exterior portion of a given package received into the collapsible-locker. The collapsible-locker may have a sterilizer for sterilizing at least some exterior portions of the collapsible-locker where a person may be intended to interact with the collapsible-locker. The collapsible-locker may have a lid, a front-wall, a rear-wall, side-walls, and a floor that form main aspects of the collapsible-locker. Interior surfaces of the lid, the front-wall, the rear-wall, the side-walls, and/or the floor may be reflective to enhance UV (ultraviolet) light sterilizing the at least some exterior portion of the given package received into the collapsible-locker. The collapsible-locker may be configured to be attached to a side hinged door, wherein the hinged door provides access to a building for people.
Mailbox and control system thereof
A mailbox and control system thereof includes a mailbox, and flip door provided thereon; a second drop slot is provided on the flip door, inside the mailbox is provided storage cavity for parcel storage; the flip door can be swung and open the storage cavity, wherein: on top of the storage cavity is provided a drop bucket, which is connected to the flip door by a transmission device, and by swinging the flip door it is possible to drive the drop bucket above the storage cavity. In the present invention, existing fixed drop slot structure is changed and by the swingable flip door, parcels can be put into the storage cavity by swinging the flip door until parcels are allowed in, meanwhile, the storage cavity is covered when the drop bucket is driven by the transmission mechanism, to limit parcels in, improve mailing safety.
