Delivery guard
Various examples are provided related to package delivery receptacles. In one example, a delivery guard includes a depository contained within a front surface, a rear surface, and side surfaces of the delivery guard; a front facing package drop door pivotally attached to the front surface; a package deposit shelf attached to the front facing package drop door at a fixed orientation; a second shelf pivotally attached to the rear surface; and a linkage assembly coupled between the package deposit shelf and the second shelf. Rotation of the front facing package drop door between open and closed positions simultaneously rotates the second shelf via the linkage assembly. The package deposit shelf and the second shelf can rotate downward as the front facing package drop door is closed thereby providing a sloped opening to the depository.

Mail receptacle with variable carrier and receiver access points
The disclosure provides an innovative delivery receptacle for receiving objects (such as parcels and mail) deposited into the receptacle and securely storing them once deposited. The receptacle allows for the orientation of the position of an input opening and delivery door for a delivering party, such as a courier, to deposit the objects in the receptacle to be changeable with respect to the orientation of an access opening and access door for a receiving party to remove the objects. In one embodiment, the delivery door also restricts access to the deposited objects while they are deposited into the receptacle. The receptacle may be a stand-alone receptacle or it may be a structure-mounted unit, such as installed in a wall or other structure. The receptacle may comprise a separate first and second sections that may be shipped separately and assembled with the desired orientation.

Automated package delivery receptacle
The automated package delivery receptacle provides a faster, easier, more delivery-person friendly, and more reliable method of ensuring that packages delivered to unattended locations are not stolen by porch pirates. The receptacle automatically detects any package that is placed on top of it. As soon as the person who delivered the package has departed, the top surface lifts up above the body of the receptacle, rotates to a vertical position, and drops the package into the interior compartment. The top then reverses its motion and returns to its resting horizontal position, locked and ready for another delivery. The receptacle's mechanism does not encroach at all on the receptable's interior compartment space while cycling. It is powered by a 12-volt automobile type battery connected to a motor controller that is programmed to drive a high-speed linear actuator to complete its open/close cycle in less than twenty seconds.
