The bottom plate is connected to the bottom edges of the side walls. The top edges of the side walls define an opening. The side walls and the bottom plate define a space. The lid has an edge pivotally connected to the top edge of one of the side walls, and configured to cover the opening at a closed position, and uncover the opening at an open position. The lid-closing module is connected to the lid and includes a contacting part in the space. When the contacting part is pushed toward the bottom plate, the lid-closing module drives the lid to the closed position.

A retractable arm device, system, and method with a locking mechanism for preventing items placed in a device or receptacle from getting stuck, damaged, or torn. The retractable arm includes an inner tube, a pawl, and an outer tube surrounding the inner tube. The inner tube slides within the outer tube and the pawl preventing the retractable arm from moving into an extended position under particular conditions. The retractable arm may be placed in a receptacle for items to prevent the door from being reopened before the door is fully closed.

A retractable arm device, system, and method with a locking mechanism for preventing items placed in a device or receptacle from getting stuck, damaged, or torn. The retractable arm includes an inner tube, a pawl, and an outer tube surrounding the inner tube. The inner tube slides within the outer tube and the pawl preventing the retractable arm from moving into an extended position under particular conditions. A specially designed package receiving device configured to facilitate automatic receipt and notification of packages while preventing unauthorized ingress and egress there-through. The package receiving device includes a frame affixed to an existing support surface, an access panel pivotally coupled to the frame and being selectively rotated along clockwise and counterclockwise directions, a handle affixed to an upper exterior section of the access panel, a plurality of slats pivotally affixed to an interior side of the frame, a box for mail pivotally coupled to the interior side of the upper panel, and a dampening mechanism for providing greater resistive force against rotation of the access panel in the clockwise direction and less resistive force against rotation of the access panel in the counterclockwise direction.

A wall mount deposit box is provided. A housing includes a front side and a back side. A rotatable content deposit includes a content delivery door and an inner panel affixed on a proximate end at an angle to a bottom of the content delivery door, and is pivotably attached to the front side of the housing. A content slot is formed as an opening within a front surface of the housing when the rotatable content deposit is in a fully open position allowing content to be deposited through the opening over each of the inner panel and the safety arm. A content retrieval door is located below the rotatable content deposit and is pivotably attached to the front side of the housing.

Disclosed herein a depositing device for a cargo carried out by an unmanned aerial vehicle. The depositing device can comprise a receptacle enclosed from above by one or more swinging ledges forming a cargo-dropping area on the outer surface thereof, wherein the receptacle is coupled to a hanging device adapted for hanging said depositing device to a balcony railing. The depositing device also comprises a transmitter designed to transmit information usable by the unmanned aerial vehicle to determine a spatial position of the cargo-dropping area. The one or more swinging ledges are designed to tilt inwardly into the receptacle in case a force exerted by a weight of the cargo imposed on the cargo-dropping area exceeds a threshold weight, for inserting said cargo into the receptacle.

Disclosed herein a depositing device for a cargo carried out by an unmanned aerial vehicle. The depositing device can comprise a receptacle enclosed from above by one or more swinging ledges forming a cargo-dropping area on the outer surface thereof, wherein the receptacle is coupled to a hanging device adapted for hanging said depositing device to a balcony railing. A package receptacle includes a storage box including a moveable platform configured to move within an inner compartment of the storage box. A door includes a locking mechanism. The locking mechanism is releasable by a signal to open the door. An antenna is in communication with the storage box. The antenna is configured to deliver the signal to the locking mechanism of the door. The moveable platform is configured to move from an upper portion of the inner compartment of the storage box toward a lower portion of the inner compartment of the storage box.
