CHIP PACKAGE STRUCTURE AND PACKAGE MODULE THEREOF
20240047369 · 2024-02-08 ·

A chip package structure and a package module thereof are provided. The package module includes an encapsulant and a recognition contrast layer. The encapsulant has a patterned trench that is recessed in a top surface thereof and that corresponds in shape to a predetermined two-dimensional (2D) code pattern. The recognition contrast layer is filled in the patterned trench. The recognition contrast layer and the top surface of the encapsulant respectively have different colors that conform to grade A or grade B in the ISO/IEC 15415 standard. The recognition contrast layer is coplanar with the top surface of the encapsulant so as to jointly form the predetermined 2D code pattern having a planar shape.

Apparatuses, methods and systems for tracking articles using customized indicia

In accordance with one aspect, the present disclosure is directed to methods, systems and machine readable media including computer programs to track information for an article of manufacture. An illustrative method includes providing a blank tag for the article of manufacture, and forming a marked tag from the blank tag by forming at least one character on the blank tag using a light source, such as a laser. The at least one character can be encoded with information relating to the article of manufacture.

Systems, methods, and articles for laser marking machine-readable symbols
10427417 · 2019-10-01 · ·

Systems and methods for generating machine-readable symbols on surfaces of objects using laser marking systems and processes. A specialized contour fill pattern for a laser beam path may be used that combines modules of a machine-readable symbol into bounded blocks or islands according to adjacencies and/or according to role (e.g., finder pattern, timing pattern, encoded payload data). In some implementations, the islands of modules may be filled using a laser beam path that traverses contour path lines from inner path lines to outer path lines. Once the islands have been generated during pre-processing, they are sorted to reduce the required time for the laser to jump (i.e., move with the laser turned off) from one island to a subsequent island to be filled. A filling pattern for bounded areas with sharp corners (e.g., squares, rectangles) may be simplified by rounding corners to optimize speed while maintaining suitable marking quality.

Dynamic thermoelectric image branding

A method, computer program product, and image branding system brand an image on a product. The system includes an image controller to determine current values for application to one or more thermoelectric devices. The image controller also determines a current range within which to select the current values based on a material composition of the product. The system also includes an image branding device including the thermoelectric devices. Each of the thermoelectric devices have a corresponding contact surface representing a single pixel. The contact surface of each of the one or more thermoelectric devices is heated based on the respective current value applied.

Micromachining method for patterning a material
10350705 · 2019-07-16 · ·

The present invention relates to a micromachining method for patterning a material. The pattern is made up of a plurality of points. Said method includes the following steps: emitting a spatially and temporally coherent pulsed light beam; dynamically shaping said spatially and temporally coherent pulsed light beam in a modulation plane of a dynamic optical modulation device by applying at least one phase modulation so as to shape said light beam in accordance with the plurality of points forming the pattern; and focusing the thus-shaped light beam, by means of a focusing device, on one surface of said material placed within a working plane in a Fourier configuration relative to the modulation plane. In said method, patterning the material is carried out with a pulse train containing a finite number of pulses of said light beam that is strictly less than the number of points forming the pattern, and emission of the light beam is controlled so that each pulse has a predetermined pulse duration between 10 ps and 100 ns. The invention also relates to a micromachining system for implementing said method and to a method for using said system.

Method of managing reuse of returnable bottle

A method of managing reuse of a returnable bottle is disclosed. The method individually manages returnable bottles so as to manage reuse linked with their individual states of use and thereby enable reusable bottles to be separated from other bottles in a scientific manner. The method comprises, at the time of new production of a returnable bottle body, forming on a bottle body surface a product identification mark part engraved with an identification code as product identification data of the bottle body, reading the product identification mark part and writing and storing the product identification data of the bottle body in the storage medium linked with individual transport state data relating to transport of the bottle body, and judging permission for continued reuse of the bottle body based on the individual transport state data stored in the storage medium.
