PAYMENT TERMINAL EVALUATOR
A payment terminal evaluator includes a contact structure and a card structure. The contact structure intersects a rectangular space such that part of the contact structure is within the rectangular space and part of the contact structure is outside of the rectangular space. The card structure extends from the contact structure and is positioned entirely within the rectangular space. The card structure includes a top surface, a bottom surface, a first side surface between the top surface and the bottom surface, a second side surface between the top surface and the bottom surface, a first tab defined in part by the top surface, the bottom surface and the first side surface, a second tab defined in part by the top surface, the bottom surface and the second side surface, and an opening between the first tab and the second tab.
CARD READER BASED PAYMENT TRANSACTIONS FROM A WEB BROWSER
A browser executing on a computer terminal associated with a merchant receives a payment request for a purchase by a customer from the merchant. The computer terminal transmits, over a communications network to a mobile communication device associated with the customer, a push notification including the payment request and a set of instructions. The payment request indicates an identifier and amount of the purchase. The set of instructions causes the mobile communication device to activate a card reader using a mobile payment app, present the purchase amount to the customer on a touch-sensitive display of the mobile computing device, receive an acceptance of the purchase amount from the customer via the touch-sensitive display, and authorize the card reader to process payment for the purchase amount based on the acceptance. The computer terminal receives, over the communications network, a confirmation of the processed payment from the mobile computing device.
AUTOMATED, DYNAMIC DIGITAL FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT METHOD AND SYSTEM
An automated, dynamic digital financial management tool is described herein. The financial management tool enables a user to access all forms of payments, debt and transactions to be deducted automatically depending on which form of payment is chosen. The financial management tool documents every item/service purchased. The documentation enables a company/manufacturer/store to provide marketing and recall information to the user. The financial management tool is able to include any and/or all financial aspects of a user's life. The financial management tool is able to be implemented using a universal card. The financial management tool is able to include a pay station to receive payments. The financial management tool is able to include automated services.
FINGER-ACTIVATED CHIP OR CONTACTLESS CARD
In some implementations, an integrated circuit may receive, from the front-end device and at a communication device embedded in a substrate, an incoming signal indicating a request for information. Accordingly, the integrated circuit may verify that at least one correct contact, of a plurality of contacts on the substrate, has been connected to circuitry embedded in the substrate. Therefore, the integrated circuit may transmit, to the front-end device and using the communication device, an outgoing signal responding to the request for information based on verifying that the at least one correct contact has been connected.
Card reader based payment transactions from a web browser
This disclosure relates to systems and methods for processing electronic payments for customer purchases. In some implementations, a system receives a payment request from a merchant, and transmits payment information to a mobile computing device associated with the merchant. The payment information includes a transaction ID to identify the purchase, a purchase amount, and instructions that cause the mobile computing device to activate a card reader, present a notification of the purchase amount to the customer, receive an acceptance of the purchase amount from the customer, and authorize the card reader to process an electronic payment for the purchase amount. The system receives payment confirmation from the mobile computing device, and provides the parameter confirmation to the merchant.
Card Connector, Card Holder, and Terminal Device
A card connector, a card holder, and a terminal device, where the card connector includes a plurality of first terminals and one or more second terminals. The first terminals are arranged to form a first card access area that installs a first card, and the first terminals are configured to be electrically coupled to the first card. The one or more second terminals are distributed on a periphery of the first card access area, the first terminals and the one or more second terminals form a second card access area that installs a second card, and the first terminals and the one or more second terminals are configured to be electrically coupled to the second card.
SMART CHIP CARD WITH FRAUD ALERT AND BIOMETRIC RESET
The disclosure generally describes computer-implemented methods, software, and systems, including a method for placing a card into an alert state. An alert detection indication is received during an attempted data exchange using a permanent account number (PAN) associated with a card. The alert detection indication is received by an electronic controller embedded in the card and is received through an interface. The alert detection indication indicates that the PAN has an alert state identified for the PAN by an entity that issued the card. An operational mode of the card is modified into the alert state by the electronic controller and is based on receipt of the alert detection indication. An electronic display indicating that the card is in the alert state is displayed by the electronic controller.
CONTACT CONNECTOR AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE
A contact connector is provided. The contact connector includes a substrate and a metal elastic sheet, the substrate includes a first side and a second side opposite to each other, the metal elastic sheet includes a fixed section and a free section connected with each other, the fixed section is fixed to the substrate, the free section is provided with a connection contact, the substrate is provided with a through hole penetrating through the first side and the second side, the connection contact penetrates through the through hole to protrude out of the first side, and the second side is provided with a mounting portion used for assembling with the electronic device.
SIM CARD CONNECTOR
A SIM card connector includes an insulating body, a plurality of first terminals and a plurality of second terminals. The insulating body has a plurality of first slots and a plurality of second slots. Each side wall of each first slot has a limiting slot. The plurality of the first terminals are inserted into the plurality of the first slots. Each first terminal has a first base portion, a first soldering portion connected with a lower end of the first base portion, and a first contacting portion connected with an upper end of the first base portion. The plurality of the second terminals are inserted into the plurality of the second slots. Each second terminal has a second contacting portion slantwise extended towards a rear end of the insulating body and exposed beyond a top surface of the insulating body.
Card connector
A card connector includes a transmission conductor assembly that includes a backup transmission conductor, a first signal transmission conductor, an inspection signal transmission conductor, a first grounding transmission conductor, a command reset transmission conductor, a first differential transmission conductor, a second differential transmission conductor, a second grounding transmission conductor, a third grounding transmission conductor, a fourth grounding transmission conductor, a first power transmission conductor, a second power transmission conductor, a third differential transmission conductor, a fourth differential transmission conductor, a second signal transmission conductor, a fifth grounding transmission conductor, a sixth grounding transmission conductor, a seventh grounding transmission conductor, a fifth differential transmission conductor, a sixth differential transmission conductor, and a write-protection transmission conductor, each of which has two ends respectively forming a spring section and soldering section. The soldering sections, being so arranged, achieve advantages of bettering high frequency performance, reducing capacitive effect, and suppressing electromagnetic radiation interference.
