Information and Tracking Marking System and Method With Modifiable Marks
Embodiments of the system can relate to information tracking of items and/or other objects associated with the items. Some embodiments can include information tracking of the use of the items and/or objects. Some embodiments can include the use of markers associated with the items. At least one of the markers may be modifiable. In at least one embodiment, a marker can be configured to generate a certain detectable property (e.g., emit a signal, have a certain pattern, have a certain color, have a certain magnetic property, etc.). During use of the item and/or object associated with the item, the marker can be used to generate tracking information. Upon changing its detectable property, the marker can be caused to generate different and/or additional tracking information.

TRANSLUCENT MARK, METHOD FOR SYNTHESIS AND DETECTION OF TRANSLUCENT MARK, TRANSPARENT MARK, AND METHOD FOR SYNTHESIS AND DETECTION OF TRANSPARENT MARK
A method of generating a semi transparent QR code in which a QR code image and an ordinary color background image are synthesized, and a QR code detection method of separating a QR code and a normal color image from an image obtained by capturing a semi transparent QR code are disclosed.
AUGMENTED REALITY SYSTEM WITH COLOR-BASED FIDUCIAL MARKER
Techniques to improve operation of an augmented reality device and/or system utilizing fiducial markers and/or colorspace conversions are provided. In various embodiments, one or more fiducial markers in an environment associated with the augmented reality device are updated and optimized in relation to environmental changes utilizing one or more color-space conversion techniques. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

IMAGING BARCODE READER WITH COLOR-SEPARATED AIMER AND ILLUMINATOR
A scanner for machine-readable symbols, such as barcodes and two-dimensional matrix symbols, employs at least two different light frequencies (colors). The first frequency supports accurate aiming of the scanner at a symbol. The second frequency supports illumination of a machine-readable symbol so that the reflected illumination light can be read at the second frequency by the scanner's optical imaging element. Employing two different light frequencies enables both aiming and scanning to occur simultaneously, while the aiming process does not interfere with the scanning process. It enables the aiming frequency to be used for additional purposes, such as providing signaling to a user of the scanner. In an embodiment, two distinct light sources are used in the scanner to provide the different light frequencies. In an embodiment, various color filters are employed to separate and distinguish light frequencies. In an embodiment, signal processing may be employed to digitally distinguish multiple separate frequencies in light reflected from the symbol.
Systems and methods for securing communication data and property using blockchain
Blockchain-based systems and methods are used to control access to property. One system includes a mobile device, a key fob, and a server. The mobile device generates an encrypted code and transmits it to the key fob. The key fob transmits the encrypted code to the property and the server updates a log of the key fob in a hyper ledger. The property includes a computing device that validates the encrypted code and grants a key fob user access to the property. Another system includes a server that validates an access key and a first station that transmits an access key to a second station via the server and a satellite. The second station transmits data to the first station via the server and the satellite. The server saves a transmission log in a hyper ledger and transmits the access key in response to a request by the first station.

Product Authentication Using Barcode Characteristics
An apparatus comprising: a memory; and a processor coupled to the memory and configured to: obtain an image of a barcode from a product, wherein the barcode comprises a signature; obtain a notification associated with authentication of the product based on the signature; and provide the notification as an audio, a video, or a combination of audio and video. A method comprising: obtaining a smart device; coupling a scanner system to the smart device; obtaining a product comprising a barcode; scanning, using the scanner system, the barcode to obtain an image of the barcode, wherein the barcode comprises a signature; and obtaining, using the smart device and based on the signature, a notification associated with authentication of the product.
Coordinated illumination and image signal capture for enhanced signal detection
Signal detection and recognition employees coordinated illumination and capture of images under to facilitate extraction of a signal of interest. Pulsed illumination of different colors facilitates extraction of signals from color channels, as well as improved signal to noise ratio by combining signals of different color channels. The successive pulsing of different color illumination appears white to the user, yet facilitates signal detection, even for lower cost monochrome sensors, as in barcode scanning and other automatic identification equipment.
