CARD INSERTION AND EJECTION MECHANISM AND CARD PROCESSING DEVICE
Provided is a card insertion and ejection mechanism to be mounted forward of a card reader structured to convey a card so that a longitudinal direction of the card is coincided with a conveying direction of the card, the card insertion and ejection mechanism being capable of preventing skimming and capable of sending into the card reader the card in an orientation capable of being processed by the card reader even when the card is inserted into the card insertion and ejection mechanism in any orientation. A card insertion and ejection mechanism takes in a card to a turning position when the card is inserted into a card insertion port with front and rear sides of the card directed correctly so that a short widthwise direction of the card is coincided with an X direction, and controls a card turning and conveying mechanism in a turning direction and at a turning angle based on a result of determination as to an orientation of the inserted card, to turn the card. The card insertion and ejection mechanism does not take in the card when the card is inserted into the card insertion port so that a longitudinal direction of the card is coincided with the X direction or when the card is inserted into the card insertion port with the front and rear sides of the card directed oppositely.
CARD PROCESSING DEVICE
A card processing device may include a moving part having a support member and a presser member, the moving part being structured to move in the thickness direction of the card; a holding member; an abutting member; a first urging member urging the abutting member in the ejecting direction; a second urging member urging the moving part; and a drive source to move the moving part. In inserting the card, the holding member may slide from a hold position to a retreated position, and the moving part may move from an insertable and ejectable position to an insertion completion position. In ejecting the card, the moving part may move from the insertion completion position to the insertable and ejectable position, and the abutting member may push the card in the ejecting direction of the card.
Card reader
A card reader may include an IC contact block; an insertion port; an insertion posture detection mechanism; a tip end detection mechanism; a pulling-out prevention mechanism structured to prevent pulling-out of a card inserted in an inside of the card reader when it is detected that the card is inserted into the insertion port in a correct posture based on a detected result of the insertion posture detection mechanism and, when it is detected that the tip end face of the card in the inserting direction has been inserted to the predetermined position based on a detected result of the tip end detection mechanism; and a pushing-out mechanism structured to push out the card inserted into the inside of the card reader in an ejecting direction of the card which is an opposite direction of the inserting direction.
Card conveying mechanism and card issuing device
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a card conveying mechanism capable of conveying a card in a horizontal direction and allowing for less space in a higher-level apparatus to be taken up even if the card conveying mechanism is capable of making the card parallel to the horizontal direction or tilting the card relative to the horizontal direction. The card conveying mechanism is provided with a card holder that has a draw and feed mechanism for drawing and feeding a card and temporarily holds the card therein, a draw and feed driving mechanism for driving the draw and feed mechanism, a carriage where the card holder is mounted, a carriage driving mechanism for moving the carriage linearly in a horizontal direction perpendicular to a direction in which the card is drawn into the card holder and a rotating mechanism for rotating the card holder with respect to the carriage around an axis in which the carriage moves.
Card reader for mobile device
A card reader for use with a mobile device includes a foot and/or a housing for a jack on the bottom of the card reader prevents the card reader from accidently turning off the mobile device during use.

Electrical connector and assembly mating with a mating connector and loading a card
An electrical connector includes a module and a shell enclosing the module. The module includes an insulative housing and a number of terminals affixed to the insulative housing, the insulative housing having a base portion and a tongue portion extending forwardly from the base portion, each terminal having a contact portion exposed on the tongue portion. The shell defines a mating port at a front portion thereof for mating with a mating connector, and a card receiving cavity at a rear portion thereof for loading a card.

Card reader part
Provided is a card reader part. The card reader part has a shell inside which a card carrying passage for carrying a card in a first direction perpendicular to a thickness direction of the card and a carrying mechanism are disposed, the card carrying passage has an opening provided at an end face of the shell on one side in the first direction where a bezel with a card inlet and outlet is mounted, a pressing part is disposed inside the shell, the pressing part abuts against the card from one side in a second direction perpendicular to the thickness direction of the card and the first direction, and in an entire preset region of the card carrying passage from the opening to the other side in the first direction with respect to the opening, the pressing part is provided so as to be separated from the card.
