An on-foil object color adjustment device includes a data receiver that obtains non-bonded area data relating to a non-bonded area; and a hardware processor that: calculates a ratio of a size of the non-bonded area to a size of the foil area based on the non-bonded area data obtained by the data receiver; calculates, based on the calculated ratio, a color of the non-bonded area, a color of the foil, and color data of an on-foil object, a first influence degree indicating an influence of the non-bonded area on a color of the on-foil object to be printed in the foil area after the foil-bonding; and adjusts the color data of the on-foil object based on the calculated first influence degree.
BACKLIGHT POSITION CORRECTION DEVICE
The present disclosure relates to the technical field of backlight code printing, and provides a backlight position correction device, which includes an assembly line and an alignment mechanism. The assembly line is configured to drive linear motion of the backlight; and the alignment mechanism is used to adjust a plurality of back-up backlights such that the backlights are in the same straight line. The alignment mechanism includes a fixing plate and a motion component. The fixing plate is disposed at a side of the assembly line. The motion component is disposed at a side of the assembly line opposite to the fixing plate, and configured to push a side of the backlight such that the backlight abuts against the fixing plate.

Halftoning of object data for a three-dimensional object
Certain examples described herein relate to the processing of object data corresponding to a three-dimensional object. First data corresponding to a first portion of the three-dimensional object and second data corresponding to a second portion of the three-dimensional object, separate from the first portion, are determined. The first data is halftoned using a first halftoning technique to generate control instructions for an apparatus to produce the first portion of the three-dimensional object. The second data is halftoned using a second halftoning technique to generate control instructions for the apparatus to produce the second portion of the three-dimensional object.

When a file name corresponding to newly received print data is not stored, a control portion calculates a paper feed control time and associates the paper feed control time with the file name corresponding to the newly received print data and stores the paper feed control time and the file name in a storage portion whereas when the file name corresponding to the newly received print data is stored, with timing at which the paper feed control time associated with the file name corresponding to the newly received print data elapses after the start of RIP processing on a first page, the control portion starts the paper feed of a first sheet.

The FIP may make available linked application system services to viewers of the FIP, which may belong to someone who does not know how to link such services in other ways.

An image forming apparatus includes: a hardware processor that: generates image data for composition; and divides the image data for composition into bands; an output memory; a storage that determines whether image data of each band coincides with image data of another band, secures a unique region, transfers the image data of the band to the unique region and associates the band with the unique region, secures common regions, transfers the image data of one of the bands to the common region and associates any one of the common regions to each of the bands; a reader that reads the image data from the region associated with each band and outputs the image data for composition; a composer that composes the image data for composition with the image data to be printed; and an image former that forms an image based on the composed image data.
HALFTONING OF OBJECT DATA FOR A THREE-DIMENSIONAL OBJECT
Certain examples described herein relate to the processing of object data corresponding to a three-dimensional object. First data corresponding to a first portion of the three-dimensional object and second data corresponding to a second portion of the three-dimensional object, separate from the first portion, are determined. The first data is halftoned using a first halftoning technique to generate control instructions for an apparatus to produce the first portion of the three-dimensional object. The second data is halftoned using a second halftoning technique to generate control instructions for the apparatus to produce the second portion of the three-dimensional object.
DUAL PASS UNIFORMITY PRINTING COMPENSATION MECHANISM
A printing system is disclosed. The printing system includes a printer to print image data to a medium. The printer includes a first pass channel including a first set of pel forming elements to print a first component of the image data and a second pass channel including a second set of pel forming elements to print a second component of the image data, wherein the first component of the image data and the second component of the image data occupy a same region on the print medium. The printing system also includes a print controller to perform uniformity compensation based on a combined compensation of the first pass channel and the second pass channel.
