Each of the cabinets including a hygrometer, a removable tray and a humidifier. One or more of the cabinets include a controller that is communicatively linked to the hygrometer and the electronic humidifier. The controller includes a wireless transceiver for allowing remote monitoring and adjustments to the environmental conditions within each cabinet of the system. Each of the cabinets including connectors for securing the cabinets vertically to form a multi-cabinet chest.
