An information processing apparatus of the present invention manages whether to set each of a plurality of images as a retrieval target in a management unit, retrieves an image similar to an image of a first product from a plurality of images managed as retrieval targets by the management unit in a case where an instruction to start the execution of jobs for manufacturing the first product is issued, and performs control to execute the jobs used for manufacturing the first product and controls the management unit to manage an image corresponding to the first product as a retrieval target in a case where no image similar to the image of the first product is retrieved.

A communication device may detect a disconnection of a first communication link in spite of a communication interface executing a communication for maintaining a state of the first communication link with an external device being established by using a power saving method. The communication device may supply a prohibition instruction for prohibiting a use of the power saving method to the communication interface in a case where the disconnection of the first communication link is detected. The communication interface may maintain a state of a second communication link, which is different from the first communication link, being established by using a normal method without using the power saving method in a case where the communication interface establishes the second communication link with the external device after acquiring the prohibition instruction in response to the disconnection of the first communication link.

An image forming apparatus for processing print data is disclosed. The image forming apparatus includes a control unit configured to control a plurality of nonvolatile storage devices having different transfer rates, and a determination unit configured to determine a nonvolatile storage device to store print data from among the plurality of nonvolatile storage devices based on information related to a size of the print data, information related to the transfer rates of the plurality of nonvolatile storage devices, and a threshold value depending on the number of sheets to be printed and output per unit time. An image generation-output control apparatus provided in an image forming apparatus communicable with a server that controls a plurality of processes in an image processing system includes a first image processing unit, a second image processing unit, a job receiver to update an initial command information received from the server to a specific command information, a part of the initial command information updated to the specific command information processable at the second image processing unit and not processable at the first image processing unit, and a job controller to cause the first image processing unit to generate first image drawing information based on output target image information received from the server and the initial command information that is not updated, and further cause the second image processing unit to generate second image drawing information based on the specific command information and the output target image information received from the server.

A method of generating interaction activity information, performed by a device, is provided. The memory stores computer-executable instructions that cause the printer to perform a connection control process, an operation control process, and a mode control process. In the connection control process, an exclusive connection with a first operation terminal is established while excluding at least one second operation terminal. In the operation control process, printing is performed by controlling plurality of operation mechanisms after establishment of the exclusive connection. In the mode control process, a first switching mode or a second switching mode is selectively executed. The exclusive connection established with the first operation terminal is disconnected at a predetermined timing after completion of the printing in the first switching mode. The exclusive connection established with the first operation terminal is maintained without being disconnected at the predetermined timing in the second switching mode.

A device capability attribute regarding a setting on communication parameters, and provision attribute information indicative of whether or not a communication terminal is in a state that it can provide communication parameters to another communication terminal are stored in advance. An inkjet printer for printing labels includes: a first interface configured to receive, from a host computer, print data for images to be printed on the labels; a second interface configured to receive, from a sequencer, a first signal indicating a timing to execute a printing operation that includes printing the images, and a second signal indicating a timing to execute a predetermined operation that cannot be executed in parallel with printing the images; and a controller configured to: render the print data received via the first interface, and execute the printing operation based on the rendered print data at a timing based on the first signal received via the second interface, and execute the predetermined operation at a timing based on the second signal received via the second interface.

A system uses GPU accessible, high-speed memory to store compressed or raw video printer data. The system transmits this video data over one or more frames of an HDMI interface and a circuit reconstructs the video data for a page from one or more HDMI frames for communication to a printer.
