Systems and methods that comprise scanning, using a camera on a mobile electronic device, a target item coupled to a heating device. The heating device comprises: a transceiver that receives commands for controlling operations of the heating device to dispose of biohazard waste; and a target item that is coupled to or presented by the heating device, and includes heating device identification data. The methods also comprise: obtaining, using a mobile communication device including a circuit, the heating device identification data from the target item; accessing the heating device using the heating device identification data; and causing a graphical user interface to be presented that enables user-software interactions for communicating the commands from the mobile communication device to the heating device.
CUP FOR DRINKS
A cup for drinks, the cup comprising a side wall which is made of cardboard and which has at least two overlapping material layers, wherein between the said material layers is located a radio frequency identification identifier. The radio frequency identification identifier can be read with a smart phone utilising near field communication technology. In the radio frequency identification identifier may be stored a character string, which is a uniform resource locator address indicating a world wide web page. The radio frequency identification identifier may comprise a microchip for storing readable data, and an antenna connected to the microchip, for transmitting the readable data to a radio frequency identification identifier reader. The radio frequency identification identifier may be a flexible thin strip.
Automated teller machine (“ATM”) currency stamper
Apparatus and methods for an automated teller machine (“ATM”) currency stamper are provided. The currency stamper may be configured to mark currency retracted by the ATM. The mark may include one or more attributes of the currency. The mark may include transaction information associated with a dispensing and/or retraction of the currency. Marked currency may be stored in the ATM. Marked currency may be scanned. A scanning of marked currency may read the attributes of the currency and the transaction information included in the mark. The scanning of the marked currency may erase the mark. A value of the marked currency may be calculated. The value may be determined based on the currency attributes and transaction information included in the mark applied to the currency.
RFID TAG ON FLEXIBLE SUBSTRATE
A radio frequency identification (RFID) tag that includes an antenna having a spiral form disposed on a major surface of a flexible substrate is described. The RFID tag includes a first terminal disposed at a first end of the antenna and a second terminal disposed at the second end of the antenna. The RFID tag may include a pad portion along the length of the antenna between the first and second ends for mounting an integrated circuit. Except for the pad portion, a radius of curvature of the antenna along at least 90 percent of a length of the antenna between the first and second ends is greater than about 0.1 mm and less than about 10 mm.
RADIO FREQUENCY IDENTIFICATION SHEET MATERIAL (VARIATIONS)
The group of inventions relates to the field of radio-frequency identification, in particular, to materials containing radio-frequency tags in their layers and intended for printing and stamping by commonly available printing methods. The technical result is the creation of the technical solution as an alternative to the known one. The sheet material with the radio frequency identification is characterized by the fact that it is made in the form of a rectangular paper sheet with a length of 450-485 mm, width of 300-330 mm (according to the first variant) and a length of 700-750 mm, width of 500-530 mm (according to the second variant), and it contains an antenna and a chip located inside the sheet, what's more, one of the corners of the sheet is made geometrically different from three other corners.
RADIO FREQUENCY IDENTIFICATION FLAT SHEET MATERIAL
The invention relates to the field of radio-frequency identification, in particular, to materials containing radio-frequency tags in their layers and intended for printing and stamping by commonly available printing methods. The technical result of the invention is to obtain the flexible flat sheet material in which the chips and other electronic components do not affect the level of the sheet material surface flatness. The flat sheet material with radio frequency identification contains the sequentially arranged first layer of flexible material, the first intermediate layer, the substrate layer with an antenna and a chip, the second intermediate layer, the second layer of flexible material, and the first intermediate layer made of the polymer composite.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING AN ELECTRONIC DEVICE
A method and system for producing electronic label are disclosed. The electronic label includes a first substrate and a second substrate. Layout information associated with the electronic label is developed. The layout information is automatically processed to develop print commands, circuit layout information, and component placement information therefrom. Information is printed on the first substrate in accordance with the print information and a conductive trace is deposited on the second substrate in accordance with circuit layout information. Components are placed on the deposited conductive trace in accordance with the component placement information.
RADIO FREQUENCY IDENTIFICATION FLAT SHEET MATERIAL
The utility model relates to the field of radio frequency identification, in particular, to the one containing a radio frequency tag in printing paper for typographical printing. The technical result is the creation of the technical solution as an alternative to the known one. The sheet material with the radio frequency identification is characterized in by the fact that it is made in the form of a rectangular sheet with a layer for printing, a length of 480 mm and a width of 325 mm, and it contains an antenna and a chip placed inside the sheet, what's more one of the sheet angles is made with a 45° bevel and a length of 10 mm.
RFID tag and reader
A radio frequency identification (RFID) tag and reader system including an array of circular resonators with interdigitated capacitor fingers wherein the fingers of each pair are radially aligned and bars disposed between the resonators to reduce coupling between adjacent resonators, wherein subsets of the resonators resonate at respective different resonant frequencies, and the resonators of each of the subsets have the same resonant frequency; and the radio frequency response produced by the tag at a resonant frequency varies depending on the activation of resonators of the subset corresponding to the resonant frequency.
Metal transaction cards containing ceramic having selected coloring and texture
RFID-enabled metal transaction cards may include a specially treated thin decorative layer attached to a thick core layer of metal or metal layers (with a discontinuity to function as a coupling frame), or a combination of ceramic and metal separated by a polymeric material, wherein the thin decorative layer is designed to provide selected color(s) and/or selected texture(s) to a surface of the metal core cards.
