SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR GROUP RESERVATIONS AND EVENT PLANNING
20230145209 · 2023-05-11 ·

A system for permitting a group administrator to book a group event is disclosed, including at least one user computing device in operable connection with a user network. An application server is in operable communication with the user network to host an application system for providing a system for booking a group event. The application system includes a user interface module for providing access to the application system through the user computing device or administrator computing device. The user interface module is in operable communication with a booking database storing one or more events, event aspects, and event prices to permit the user to select from the one or more events. A payment processing module permits the transmission of payment for the one or more events.

Booking management system

Secure authentication and delayed transaction processing for booking management systems is provided. Third-party services partner with booking management systems to aggregate and list offerings of the third-party services in a digestible display on a one-stop platform. A booking management system can manage the authentication of payment card information on behalf of any number of such third-party services. The booking management system can maintain and process authentication information associated with traveler payment cards, and provide virtual payment information to the third-party services for delayed transactions. The third-party services may later initiate the delayed transactions using the virtual payment information, without being required to perform authentication processing on the traveler payment card information maintained by the booking management system.

The invention relates to a method and system for booking reservations in a booking system and synchronizing bookings among several booking systems. The system comprises at least one booking system; at least one service provider; a mediator service; a client, and at least one client terminal device that can be a mobile device and that includes a dialogue. The client uses the dialogue to enter information into the system and the mediator receives inquiries and answers from the at least one booking system, the at least one service provider, and the at least one client. The mediator transfers and adapts information between them. The method and system are particularly suited for use with mobile phone users by Small Message Service messages.

Integrated end-to-end travel instrument (TI) device generation system and integrated travel instrument device

The system includes a webserver (110) to generate a passenger journey document file (PJDF) (160) comprising a plurality of end-to-end passenger travel reservations (PTRs) for a set of passengers. The PJDF includes, for each travel leg of an end-to-end PTRs, a single-sheet integrated end-to-end travel instrument (TI) template (1000A) populated with an official boarding pass identifier (BPID) (1209) issued by one of a plurality of disparate travel host systems (JTHSs) (150.sup.1, 150.sup.2, . . . , 150.sup.Y) for a respective leg. Each TI template comprising an emulated boarding pass barcode (1211) associated with the BPID for the respective leg, and for N checked-in luggage items for the respective passenger, populated with X temporary luggage tag identifiers (LTIDs) (1231A, 1233A) linked to up to X official bag tag identifiers (BTIDs) (1209) from the JTHS of the leg, wherein X and N are integers. There is a one-to-one correspondence between the LTIDs and BTIDs.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR TRAFFIC DECONGESTION

A system and method for traffic decongestion allows users to bid for taster passage a>>d fester journeys. The system and method allows autonomous, semi-autonomous or user-driven cars, to bid for faster passage for their journeys. Additionally, users willing to use slower journeys may be compensated for their contribution in reducing traffic congestion, in addition to reduction of traffic congestion, die system and method can even out road usage, minimize road wear, give municipalities a new revenue stream, and save users time currently wasted by traffic.

MULTI-MODAL TRANSIT SYSTEM

A transit system and a transit method for managing logistics for an in-progress journey is disclosed. The transit system includes a mobility acquirer connected with two service providers. The system further includes user devices for multiple users. Each user device communicates with the mobility acquirer via an interface. The mobility acquirer receives and stores the preferences of users and updates logistics for the two service providers based on a start point, an endpoint, and the current location of the user device. The two service providers communicate with the mobility acquirer using another interface. The service providers track the availability of vehicles during a leg of the journey and calculate the resources entailed for the vehicles available for the leg. The system further includes a resource processor for allocating resources to the service providers by requesting resources for the journey from a resource wallet.

METHOD FOR COMPUTING A SET OF ITINERARIES FROM A DEPARTURE LOCATION TO AN ARRIVAL LOCATION USING CLUSTER-BASED SEARCHING

A method and system for preprocessing and query stages for a trip-based public transit routing algorithm, which is used for multimodal routing computations, clusters the public transit network and computes relevant network parts when transiting between different clusters in order to prune the search at query time. The processing phase is modified to use only a subset of the network, depending on the clusters associated to the origin and destination locations.
