A method includes: for each of a delivery source and each of plural delivery destinations to which goods are delivered, receiving distance information indicating a distance between points, delivery amount information indicating a total delivery amount of the goods to each of the plural delivery destinations, and maximum delivery amount information indicating a maximum delivery amount per delivery; calculating a first cost to deliver the goods for the total delivery amount from the delivery source to each of the plural delivery destinations while setting the maximum delivery amount indicated by the maximum delivery amount information; calculating a second cost to deliver the goods for the total delivery amount from the delivery source to each of the delivery destinations; executing selection processing for selecting a delivery destination by using the first cost and the second cost; and creating a delivery plan by using a result of the selection processing.

Systems and methods for autonomous vehicle operations are provided. An example computer-implemented method includes obtaining data indicative of vehicle fleet feature(s) associated with an autonomous vehicle fleet. The method includes obtaining data indicative of a vehicle service request associated with a user, the vehicle service request indicating a request for a vehicle service. The method includes determining user feature(s) associated with the user. The method includes determining a compatibility of the user and the autonomous vehicle fleet for the vehicle service based at least in part on the fleet feature(s) and the user feature(s). Determining the compatibility can include predicting how the autonomous vehicle fleet will perform the vehicle service associated with the vehicle service request based at least in part on the fleet's autonomy capabilities. The method includes communicating data associated with the vehicle service request to a computing system associated with the autonomous vehicle fleet.
Managing user profiles and preferences in autonomous vehicles
A method includes receiving a message from a requesting device indicating a passenger request for ride services performed by an autonomous vehicle. The system determines, based on the request message, the pooling status of the requested ride services, generates a seat assignment and provides individualized vehicle options to individual users in the vehicle based on profile information in the mission packet.
Ring oscillator-based Ising machine system
One example includes an Ising machine system. The system includes a plurality of ring oscillators that are each configured to propagate an oscillation signal. Each of the ring oscillators can be cross-coupled with at least one other of the ring oscillators via a respective one of the oscillation signals to provide a respective phase coupling between the respective cross-coupled ring oscillators. The system also includes an Ising machine controller configured to generate control signals corresponding to parameters of an Ising problem and including a plurality of delay selection signals. The Ising machine controller can provide at least one of the delay selection signals to each of the ring oscillators. The delay selection signal can be configured to set a variable propagation delay of the ring oscillator to control the relative phase coupling of each of the ring oscillators to each of the at least one other of the ring oscillators.

TARGETED DRIVING FOR AUTONOMOUS VEHICLES
Aspects of the disclosure provide a method of providing a destination to an autonomous vehicle in order to enable the autonomous vehicle to collect data according to a targeted driving goal. For instance, a current location of an autonomous vehicle may be received. A set of destinations may be selected from a plurality of predetermined destinations. A route may be determined for each destination. A relevance score may be determined for each destination based on the determined routes and the targeted driving goal. Each destination may be assigned to one of a set of two or more buckets based on the relevance scores. A destination of the set may be selected based on a predetermined sampling probability. The selected destination is sent to the autonomous vehicle in order to cause the autonomous vehicle to travel to the selected destination in an autonomous driving mode.

A route determination system includes: an initial route line setting section that sets an initial route line including a plurality of split points between a starting point and a destination and connecting the first and second waypoints; and a movement route determination section that generates a candidate route line starting from the first waypoint and reaching the second waypoint by setting a predetermined number of control points at arbitrary positions within a specific range on the map, and that when all split points of the candidate route line are positioned within the passable area, determines, as a movement route for a mobile object, a route in a real space corresponding to the candidate route line, and when at least one of the split points of the candidate route line is positioned within an impassable area, increases the number of control points and performs the curving processing again.

A UAV delivery control system is disclosed. Sensors detect operation parameters associated with the UAV as the UAV maneuvers along an airborne delivery route. A UAV operation controller monitors UAV route parameters as the UAV maneuvers along the airborne delivery route. The UAV route parameters are indicative as to a current environment of the airborne delivery route that the UAV is encountering. The UAV operation controller automatically adjusts the operation of the UAV to maintain the operation of the UAV within an operation threshold based on the operation parameters and the UAV route parameters. The operation threshold is the operation of the UAV that is maintained within an overall airborne operation radius of the UAV from a return destination thereby enabling the UAV to execute the delivery of the package along the airborne delivery route and to return to the return destination.
