INTERACTIVE LISTING OF RIDE SERVICE OPTIONS IN A NAVIGATION APPLICATION
An interactive digital map of a geographic area is provided via a user interface. A request to obtain travel directions to a destination is received via the user interface. Respective indications of candidate rides for at least a portion of a route to the destination are requested from third-party providers, each of the indications including a pick-up location, a price estimate, and pick-up time. The requested indications of the candidate rides are received. A ranking of the candidate rides is determined using at least one of the corresponding pick-up locations, the price estimates, or the pick-up times, and a listing of the candidate rides is provided via the user interface in accordance with the determined ranking. In response to one of the candidate rides being selected via the user interface, a request for the selected ride is transmitted to the corresponding third-party provider.
GRAVITY BASED ROUTING OPTIMIZATION FOR GOODS OR DATA
From a first set of natural language documents describing a demand for a movable physical item, a set of demand features is extracted. From a second set of natural language documents describing a supply of the movable physical item, a set of supply features is extracted. A correlation quantifying a relationship between the set of demand features and the set of supply features is computed. Using the correlation and the correlation trend, an attraction between the set of demand features and the set of supply features is modeled as a gravitational force. Using a routing determined according to the attraction, the movable physical item is caused to be transported.

Methods, devices and systems for determining a target path
Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, embodiments and a method. The method includes iteratively providing messages to each Node Processor. Each Node Processor represents a node of a group of nodes. The iteratively providing of the messages comprises providing first messages. Each first message includes a cost associated with a path of nodes visited by each first message. A selected path is obtained from each node having a lowest cost of a group of common endpoint costs for paths having common endpoints. A next group of messages includes the selected path. The iteratively providing of the messages results in selected paths. Also, the method include determining a target path from a remaining path. Other embodiments are disclosed.
Device and computer program product for route planning for a vehicle
A method determines an anticipated occupation of charging points and a charging strategy for a specified route. The method provides traffic data which is representative for the current traffic density on the route specified. An anticipated occupation of charging points along the specified route can be determined on the basis of the traffic data. A charging strategy can be determined on the basis of the traffic data and the determined anticipated occupation of charging points. The provision of information regarding a charging strategy to a driver allows the time required for the specified route to be reduced.
Hands-free augmented reality system for picking and/or sorting assets
A system is provided for hands-free handling of at least one asset by a user. The system includes a user device configured to be worn by a user and a control system remotely located relative to the user device and configured to exchange asset-related data with the user device, the asset-related data including at least one or more notifications related to the handling of the at least one asset by the user at the asset location. The user device contains a processor configured to determine location data associated with the at least one asset and including a location for the at least one asset, the determination being based, in part, upon the obtained asset identifier data; dynamically generate and display, at the user device, one or more navigational projections configured to guide the user to the asset location; and detect handling of the at least one asset by the user.

Systems and methods for dynamic release planning for insect release
One example method includes receiving information indicating a population of wild insects within a geographic region; determining a number of wild insects per unit area within the geographic region; placing, based on the number of wild insects per unit area, one or more insect release points based on the number of wild insects per unit area, each insect release point indicating a release of a predefined quantity of insects; and generating an insect release route through the geographic region, the insect release route passing through each insect release point.

Smart waste bin sensor device and methods for waste management system
A waste management system comprises a waste bin storing waste, wherein the waste bin comprises a smart waste bin sensor device installed on the waste bin of a waste bin owner. The smart waste bin sensor device comprises a set of sensors that sends and receives signals through a wireless network to a cloud server. The set of sensors implements, operates, detects, measures, and monitors environmental conditions inside or outside the waste bin. A waste and litter sensor detects, measures, and monitors a waste type, a waste volume, a litter type, a litter level, a biohazardous waste type, and a biohazardous waste level. A pathogen biosensor detects, measures, and monitors a pathogen type and a biosafety level. The pathogen biosensor comprises a sterilizer to kill pathogens. A waste bin mobile application and a waste collection facility application functionality enable a user to monitor waste in the waste bin.
