Systems and methods for transaction tracing
A method and apparatus is described for performing transaction tracing. The method may include mapping one or more funds flow transactions into each account to one or more funds flow transactions out of said each account based on a first-in-first-out ordering. The method may also include generating an initial graph from the mappings of the transactions for each said account. Furthermore, the method may include transforming the initial graph to a function graph, wherein the functional graph is a directed pseudoforest where each node has an out degree of at most one. Then, the method may include for a node in the functional graph, performing a trace of the transaction generating a set of transactions that contributed to the transaction.
INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
One embodiment is an information management system which is capable of routing and/or delivering the information to a user. The system can include a notification system for providing a notification to the user associated with the information.
Method and system for sharing playlists
Methods and systems for publishing a playlist are disclosed. A user generates or selects a playlist, which is then provided (e.g., uploaded) for publishing. A playlist identifying at least one of one or more tracks and one or more albums is received. The playlist may then be published such that the playlist is viewable by one or more individuals. A user may then purchase one or more tracks/albums identified in the playlist via an online store.
System and method for enabling an external-system view of email attachments
A method and email application enable email attachments to be viewed through a system external to the email application itself in accordance with select categories. The email application creates categories and categorizes the email attachments according to such categories. The email application then maps the categories into a format understandable by the external system for category information and provides the mapped categories to the external system in such format In response to receiving a request from the external system for the contents of one of the mapped categories and in response to such category having no further subcategories, the email application identifies the email attachments under such category and maps the identified email attachments to file names. The file names are then provided to the external system as the contents of such category.
Method and apparatus for providing content
A method of providing content in a terminal includes obtaining a first message that is input through a user interface of the terminal that is provided by a messaging application that executes a messaging service in the terminal; generating content based on the first message, and a second message stored in the terminal; and providing the generated content via the terminal.

Secure sent message identifier
A message management service allows a user to access and manage messages from various message services. The user can access the message management service using a message management client application executing on a client device and can draft messages using the message management client application and send the messages through the different message services. The message management service can add information to messages sent using the message management client application that can be used to identify and organize the messages. A secure sent-message identifier can be added to messages sent by the message management service to reliably indicate that the messages were sent by the message management service.
Personal data fusion
The present disclosure contemplates a variety of improved methods and systems for providing professionals and organizations tools to improve productivity and efficiency. The present disclosure includes a process for discovering and validating entity objectives. In an embodiment, the method and system receive communications from multiple data sources (e.g., email, calendar, contacts), find correlations between the communications, identify communications that appear to be important to a user, and provide relevant resources.

Automated electronic mail assistant
Multiple text parts of a body of an incoming e-mail are determined. For each text part, based on natural language processing, a topic category and a feature vector representation (FVR) are determined. For two text parts comprising a common topic category, a similarity value based on their FVR is calculated, and in case the similarity value fulfills a condition, the two text parts are aggregated into one aggregated text part. For each text part: a reference document is selected based on a FVR of the text part; a recipient is obtained based on the corresponding topic category; and an e-mail comprising the text part, and each selected reference document or a pointer thereto, is sent to the obtained recipient. Via aggregation of text parts based on FVR, computational resources for document retrieval based on FVR is reduced, as well as the number of outgoing e-mails.
