ROBOT SERVICE METHOD AND ROBOT APPARATUS USING SOCIAL NETWORK SERVICE
The present invention relates to a robot service system and a robot apparatus using a social network service, and comprises: (a) a step in which a terminal device is connected to a robot apparatus by executing a social network service program, and displays a service screen on which an image captured by the robot apparatus is displayed; (b) a step in which the terminal device transmits a robot control command inputted to the service screen to the robot apparatus; (c) a step in which the robot apparatus performs an operation according to the robot control command and transmits operation performance data to the terminal device; and (d) a step in which the terminal device displays the operation performance data transmitted from the robot apparatus on the service screen.
COMMUNICATIONS CONTROL METHOD, COMMUNICATIONS TERMINAL, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
This application discloses a communications control method and a communications terminal, so as to implement a change between a point-to-point chat and a group chat among multiple persons, and a user may set a chat identity of the user by using a character. The communications control method provided in this application includes: controlling, by a communications terminal, a first character to move on a character layer, and displaying, on a communications display interface of the communications terminal, different characters on the character layer with the movement of the first character, the first character being displayed on the communications display interface of the communications terminal, the character layer including: the first character and at least one character other than the first character, and the first character being a user object that represents a user when the user chats using the communications terminal; obtaining, by the communications terminal, chat content entered by the user into the communications terminal; and displaying, by the communications terminal, the chat content on the communications display interface as an identity of the first character.
NOTIFICATIONS BASED ON USER INTERACTIONS WITH EMAILS
In some implementations, a method includes extracting message attributes of an email associated with a user from the email. User interaction data is identified that is generated by the user in association with display of the email based on sensor data from one or more sensors. It is determined that the user interaction data corresponds to a routine of the user based on a routine-related aspect generated from a user routine model representing the routine. A time to present a notification of the email is determined based on the routine. The notification is provided to the user on a user device based on the determined time to present the notification.
CALENDAR EVENT SCHEDULING FROM EMAIL
An electronic mail (email) system generates an email user interface display, that allows the user to enter message content. A context-sensitive calendar preview can be triggered and displayed on the email user interface display. The email system detects a user drag and drop input dragging at least a portion of the message content onto the calendar preview, and automatically generates a calendar event based upon the detected drag and drop input, and the particular portion of the message content dragged onto the context-sensitive calendar preview.
EXPOSING TASK INFORMATION TO ONLINE SERVICE PROVIDERS
Task information is exposed to providers of online services. A dataset that includes one or more electronic messages is received. Then, one or more task intents in the dataset are identified, where each of the identified task intents is a specific task that is to be completed. Then, for each of the identified task intents, one or more service providers each of whom offers one or more online services that are capable of assisting in the fulfillment of the identified task intent are identified, and information associated with the identified task intent is exposed to each of the identified service providers.
Instant Messaging Private Tags
Systems for instant messaging private tags preferably comprise a parser for parsing an instant message for sensitive data and an encryption engine for encrypting the sensitive data. A modified uuencoder is also preferably included for converting the encrypted sensitive data into a data stream that complies with an XML format. Other systems and methods are also provided.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING CENTRALIZED MANAGEMENT AND DISTRIBUTION OF INFORMATION TO REMOTE USERS
The invention includes systems, methods, and software applications for centrally maintaining information and automatically distributing relevant portions of the information to remote users. In one embodiment, a central server stores the information, which is maintained on the central server. Periodically, or each time the server information is updated, the server identifies the portion of the information that is relevant to each user and downloads the relevant portion of information to each user, for example to a mobile device such as a Blackberry™. The invention may be used to maintain and timely distribute information related to emergency response procedures, sales or servicing schedules, and delivery schedules, among other things.
ANTI-PHISHING PROTECTION
Anti-Phishing protection assists in protecting against phishing attacks. Any links that are contained within a message that has been identified as a phishing message are disabled. A warning message is shown when the phishing message is accessed. The first time a disabled link within the phishing message is selected a dismissible dialog box is displayed containing information about how to enable links in the message. After the user dismisses the dialog, clicking on a disabled link causes the warning message to flash drawing the user's attention to the potential severity of the problem. The links may be enabled by the user by selecting the warning message and choosing the appropriate option. Once the user enables the links, future displays of the message show the links as enabled.
REAL-TIME MESSAGING METHOD AND APPARATUS
A system and method for the late-biding of time-based media in real-time. With late binding, the sender may create time-based media before or at the same time an active delivery route to the recipient is discovered. As soon as the route becomes available, the media is transmitted. The existing DNS and email infrastructure is possibly used for route discovery, while any real-time transmission protocol may be used for the actual delivery of the media. “Progressive” emails may also be used for the real-time delivery of time-based media.
ONLINE FRAUD SOLUTION
Various embodiments of the invention provide solutions (including inter alia, systems, methods and software) for dealing with online fraud. Some embodiments function to access and/or obtain information from (and/or receive data from) a data source; the data might, for example, indicate a possible instance of online fraud. Certain embodiments, therefore, can be configured to analyze the data, e.g., to determine whether the data indicate a likely instance of online fraud. Such instances may be further investigated, and/or a response may be initiated. Data sources can include, without limitation, web pages, email messages, online chat sessions, domain zone files, newsgroup (and/or posting thereto), etc. Data obtained from the data sources can include, without limitation, suspect domain registrations, uniform resources locators, references to trademarks, advertisements, etc.
