Providing electronic receipts for vending machine transactions

Systems and methods are disclosed herein for providing an electronic receipt for a vending machine transaction. Upon conclusion of a vending machine transaction a screen on the vending machine displays an optically encoded electronic receipt. The optically encoded electronic receipt may encode a transaction identifier and may additionally encode details of the transaction. The vending machine may also transmit transaction data to a server. A user computing device may scan the optically encoded electronic receipt and retrieve a transaction identifier. Using the transaction identifier, the user computing device may request transaction data from the server either directly or by way of a server owned or controlled by a different entity. Additional content, such as advertisements may be transmitted with or for display with transaction data.

Ordering lottery tickets using mobile devices

A mobile application or mobile website allows a user of a mobile device to make player selections associated with the order of a lottery ticket. The mobile device then displays a machine-readable code image. When a lottery retailer scans the image, the code conveys the lottery ticket order to the retail system, allowing the retailer to sell lottery tickets corresponding with the order. The mobile application or website may record player selections for reuse, record purchased tickets to report lottery status to the player, and assist the player in locating a lottery retailer. Further, a lottery image ticket may be transmitted to the user's mobile device or to an account which can be accessed through the user's mobile device. The lottery image ticket can then be presented to the retailer equipment for winnings check and redemption.

Data processing consent sharing systems and related methods

In various embodiments, an entity may provide a WebView where a transaction between an entity and a data subject may be performed. As described herein, the transaction may involve the collection or processing of personal data associated with the data subject by the entity as part of a processing activity undertaken by the entity that the data subject is consenting to as part of the transaction. Additionally, the entity may provide a native application where the transactions between the entity and a data subject may be performed. In some embodiments, the system may be configured to share consent data between the WebView and the native application so data subjects experience a seamless transition while using either the WebView or the native application, and the data subjects are not required to go through a consent workflow for each of the WebView and the native application.

A device may receive first information related to a transaction. The device may identify a first device from which to receive an image of a receipt related to the transaction. The device may provide, to the first device, a notification to cause the first device to perform a set of actions including activating a camera associated with the first device to capture the image of the receipt, or providing, for display, an instruction related to capturing the image of the receipt associated with the transaction. The device may receive, from the first device, the image of the receipt. The device may process the image of the receipt to perform an analysis of the transaction. The device may perform an action related to the transaction based on a result of processing the image of the receipt.

Display an item detail with a receipt snippet

The present disclosure extends to displaying a portion of an image representation of a paper receipt, the image portion corresponding to a selected item from a completed transaction. In embodiments, an “eReceipt,” a digital representation of a paper receipt, is transmitted to and displayed on a customer computing device, such as an app installed on a smartphone. The eReceipt may include a list of items purchased at the transaction and additional information related to the transaction and/or items purchased. In response to the customer selecting one of the items listed on the eReceipt, a snippet of the image of the paper receipt is displayed, the snippet depicting the line item from the paper receipt that represents the selected item.

The server determines that the multi-account payment card ID is associated with a plurality of financial accounts, wherein each of the plurality of financial accounts is associated with any one of a credit card, a debit card, an automatic teller machine (ATM) card, a gift card, or a credit line. A financial account of the plurality of financial accounts is selected by the server based on financial account information, such as anomalous transactions, associated with the plurality of financial accounts and the transaction information of the financial transaction. The financial transaction is then charged to the selected financial account.
