According to an embodiment, a system for dynamically generating user interfaces for electronic receipts is disclosed. An electronic receipt management server receives and stores a first electronic receipt generated for a transaction made by a customer at a physical store, a customer identifier, and first additional information unique to the physical store. The server receives and stores a second electronic receipt for a transaction made by the customer at an online store, the customer identifier, and second additional information unique to the online store. The server transmits the first and second electronic receipts, the customer identifier, and the first and second additional information, in response to an inquiry containing the customer code. A client device displays a first graphical user interface including a first selectable object to view an image of the first electronic receipt and a second selectable object to view an image of the second electronic receipt.

A system may perform steps such as receiving a bank card transaction authorization stream including a URL originating from the merchant computing system, the URL received in a discretionary field in the authorization stream for a bank card purchase. The system further perform the step of retrieving information at a location referenced by the URL, wherein the information includes at least a merchant identifier and line item data related to a purchase. A method for archiving data relative to a user equipped with an electronic apparatus and having a user account on a server including a database, the method including: transmitting the data relative to the user from an electronic device to the server; storing the data relative to the user in a first container of the database of the server; generating, by the server, a temporary reference associated with the first container of the database; transmitting the temporary reference from the server to the electronic apparatus; accessing the data relative to the user from the electronic apparatus, a connection between the electronic apparatus and the server having been established previously.

A system and method for document management, such as receipts, includes a device having a processor and associated memory, a wireless data interface and a digital imager. The device is configured to selectively generate image data corresponding to captured images of associated receipts acting in connection with a touchscreen display. Price data is extracted from multiple areas of the image data and an image of the receipts on the touchscreen display is generated. The processor determines a position of the price data on the image and highlights at least one user-selectable portion of the image on the touchscreen display. Aggregate costs are calculated and displayed in accordance with user selection.

Various embodiments herein each include at least one of systems, methods, and devices for direct provisioning of electronic transaction data. For example, some embodiments include electronically transmitting a bill or receipt for goods or services of a purchase transaction via a wireless connection between a Point-Of-Sale (POS) device and a customer device. One method embodiment includes receiving input within a POS device to output a receipt of a transaction via a wireless transceiver device via a wireless peer-to-peer connection to a customer device and generating a receipt image from data of the transaction. This method then transmits the receipt image via the radio transceiver device of the POS device directly to the customer device via a wireless peer-to-peer connection.

An electronic receipt system may include a point-of-sale (POS) terminal having a near field communication (NFC) device for communicating with a mobile wireless communications device during a transaction for purchasing at least one item, and a server. The server may be for receiving a user identifier transmitted from the mobile communication device via the NFC device, verifying an enrollment status of the user identifier, based upon results of the verifying, generating an electronic receipt associated with the transaction, and generating a social media network link feature in the electronic receipt and associated with the item, the social media network link feature for sharing the purchase of the item on a corresponding social media network.

A method for characterization of an electronic receipt acquired through a receipt capture process to a host computing device is provided, the capture process using image capture, scan capture, or electronic capture features leveraged through SW extension of a wallet or money pay application running on a host computing device functioning as a transaction device or as a host device to a transaction device, the receipt accounting for a transaction from a point of sale (POS) terminal or network node.
